Dear friends,

hereby the 2nd report about the Socrates Action Week from Aegee Udine.

On Friday 16.11.2001, at 19.00, Aegee Udine organised, in cooperation with
the University of Udine - IRO, a very succesful buffet and party, inviting
all the students of the University, both local and Socrates ones.
Before the buffet, there were the speaches of:

Mr. Mario Genero, vice president of Aegee Udine, who introduced Aegee to the
partecipants, stressing on the European role of the Association supporting
the mobility projects, Socrates in particular. He foculised his speech on
the activities that Aegee realised to welcome foreign students and organised
meetings, happenings and sevaral parties were all the students can meet each
ohters and estabilish new friendships. Giving the speech to Ms. D'Aronco, he
thanked the University for the active and economical support to Aegee Udine.

Ms. Maria Amalia D'Aronco, delegate of the Rector, welcomed the Socrates
students, expressed satisfaction for the work done by Aegee Udine. She
explained the aims of the Socrates project and the importance of a
multinational education in the Europe of the future. She wished good luck
for the exams and stressed on the opportunity given to the students to visit
the cultural resorts of the Region and breath the social life of Udine.

Ms. Elisabetta Vecchio, director of the IRO focalised on the complete
availability of the office to the studetns and invite them to express their
remarks and complains in case of needing.

More than 200 students partecipate to the buffet and many other joined the
following party.
The buffet (pizza, voulevant, italian bruschetta, ham, cheese, tortillas,
sandwiches, mortadella, croquettes and many other very tasty foods) and
drinks (italian wine, alcoolic and analccolic cocktails) were really
appreciated by partecipants, but they were enough to last for the party.
Music was grant by a DJ that played revival and contemporary music, latino
melodies and hard rock.
Unfortunately, a visit of the police forced us to stop the party about
23.00, but we simply transfered to a near discopub, "Jungle", not before
announcing the tickets that won the lottery we organised in the middle of
the party (1sr award, one partecipation for free to the ski week).
