Ciao!
Sorry for the delay,I'm busy preparing the RM, so this report will be a brief
one.
I've contacted people from all the locals,except AEGEE-Split,AEGEE-Verona and
AEGEE-Maribor( I also don't have any Activity Reports from these locals).
What's happened in the region?
Not so much,except the last Summer Universities by AEGEE-Genova,AEGEE-Bari and
AEGEE-Valletta during the first part of September,and the 1-3 of October a
relaxing"European week end" organised by AEGEE-Pavia (but unfortunately,dued to
the fact that the event couldn't appear in the Calendar of Events,there weren't
partecipants from outside the region).
To the President Meeting partecipated AEGEE-Udine,AEGEE-Treviso,AEGEE-Brescia
and AEGEE-Rijeka,(also AEGEE-Milano and Split were represented).
During the PM we decided to include in our region the contacts in Bosnia
Herzegovina:Tuzla,Banja Luka and AEGEE-Sarajevo wich is dead,but there're new
contacts there,so we're planning a visit in December.
Coming events:
- "Peace in the Mediterranean Region" (AEGEE-Valletta and Peace Academy)
- New Years Day Celebrations : The ultimate party - AEGEE-Zagreb
- Artspotting I Reinassance and Modern Art in two great exhibitions 25-28.11
(AEGEE-Treviso &AEGEE-Venezia)
- RM Genova 22-25/10 : we're planning to talk about SUs,organisation in
Antennae,how to make strong Antennae, common PR,SAD,Antennas responsabilities
towards AEGEE-Europe,the next Agora,our problems,activities and projects,but
also a basic knowledge of AEGEE to the newcomers.
Till now I've received applications from Treviso,Ferrara,Zagreb,Milano,
Venezia,Brescia,Torino,Perugia,Cagliari,Roma,Salerno,Pavia,Padova (contact),
Trieste and Udine.
Future plans:
AEGEE-Salerno plan an event in occasion of the film festival (end of November)
and AEGEE-Udine a conference with the cooperation with the IPWG,during wich
will host partecipants from the Balkans.
Also AEGEE-Roma plans to celebrate the new millenium with a special event.
AEGEE-Brescia will organise the European School in spring 2000.
Thanks to AEGEE-Karlsruhe there's a new contact in Trento (it's in the North of
the region, important centre in the Dolomiti,sorrounded by Paganella and
Bondone,groups of mountains famous for the winter sports,meeting point between
the German and Latin civilization... and linked to the famous Council in XVI
century ....)
To end,let me say a big IN BOCCA AL LUPO to all the new promising boards
elected in the last days !!!!!!
(and the same goes to the future stuff of AEGEE-Trento..oopsss!!!!)
