It's coming, it's coming....
.... Autumn Agora in Athens!!!
Date: 21st - 24th November
APPLICATIONS are already open, but only until: 18th October!!!
The local board has to accept and choose the delegates and visitors until
that time.

But first: WHAT IS AGORA?
The Agora is a General Assembly which is attended by delegates of each
local. The Agora is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the
autumn. During the Agora there will be new proposals which will or will not
be approved by the delegates. Also there will be new candidates for the CD
that will have to be elected. Workshops and lectures about old and new
projects of AEGEE will be held. Also subjects as the budget or the future of
AEGEE will be discussed.
Next to the official part there will be more than enough time to enjoy
yourself at parties together with other 600-1000 AEGEE members from all over
Europe and to meet old friends!
Every antenna should be present (by their delegates) at least at two Agora's
per year or at one Agora and one Planning meeting! But for delegates is not
only obligation to join Agora, it is also privilege and wonderful
experience, not even to mention benefit for antenna (you get familiar with
the current situation in AEGEE, you can express opinion, vote and
constructively contribute to AEGEE's future, not to mention the motivation
for the delegates).

- PARTICIPATION FEE:
Delegates : 25Euros for EU participants / 20Euros for Non-EU participants
Visitors : 35Euros for EU participants / 30Euros for Non-EU participants
Observers : 30Euros for EU participants/ 25Euros for Non-EU participants
Envoys : 35Euros for EU participants / 30Euros for Non-EU participants
Agora fee includes accommodation from Thursday morning [21st] till Sunday
afternoon [24th], two meals (breakfast + lunch), and some necessary local
transport expenses.
- Lodging/accommodation during the Agora: In two big hotels in the centre of
Athina. Therefore sleeping bags won 't be necessary!
- there will be also POST EVENT: from 24th to 28th of November; Departure
from Athina: On the 24th of November, just right after the official Agora
ending [around 20:00].  Arrival time back to Athina: 28th of November -
around 12:00
- For those of you who won't be joining the Post Event and want to remain in
Athina the night of 24th, since it is not included in the fee, an
arrangement could be made with the hotel or a list of alternative lodging
options will be handed out to you
- AEGEE-Athina has appointed five special agents to provide answers to all
questions concerning Fall Agora - they are divided by the countries (this is
valid also for visas) - for our region is important:
   * Group 2: [log in to unmask] for Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and
Herzegovina and Malta
   * Group 3: [log in to unmask] for Montenegro (as Federal Republic of
Yugoslavia)
- VISAS: needed for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

APPLICATION:
The application is open from 1st until 18th October. You can apply via
calendar of events on www.aegee.org or www.ntua.gr/aegee/agora/.

Every board has a right to apply following members to Agora:
Antennae                 3 delegates + 2 visitors (3 visitors for antennae
with more than 120 members)
Contact Antennae     2 envoys
Contacts                  2 observers
AEGEE Working Group             3 delegates
Thematic and supporting WG     2 envoys
Project teams                           2 envoys

Visitors are accepted in the order of the appearance in the application.
Each board has to confirm the application and status with the export
password before the midnight 18th October.
