cooling down before forwarding them on this list ;-))

E L E C T I O N S

Secretary of the Agora

Total Votes 332
Valid Votes 332

Mensonides, Nynke 93.1%

The Agora seems not missing former Secretary of the Agora Martijn Hovestad,
the man who can type faster than his shadow, despite the slight decrease
from the Agora in Ankara (97.1%).

Audit Commission

Total votes 346
Valid Votes 328

Kazanis, Georgios 68.6%
Peskens, Hans 60.6%
Hauslmeier, Karina 46.9%

Not elected:
Umerov, Rustem 42.9%
Panizo, Pedro 34.8%

The fresh and young Georgios jumped up the first place becoming the new
president of the Audit Commission (still AEGEE-Athina can keep the control
on the finances of AEGEE-Europe ;-))). Quite a low result for the former
Treasurer and former President of AEGEE-Europe Karina as well as for the
long-time-Audit-commissioner Hans. Actually all votes are quite low in
general as it usually happens when there are more people than places ;-)

Juridical Commission

Total votes 333
Valid Votes 297

Karasiotou, Gina 253 votes (85,2 %)
Tokarskyy, Yuriy 234 votes (78,8 %)
Abstention 19 votes (6,4 %)

New president of the JC is Gina Karasiotou. The results of the vote for the
JC are quite impressive regarding the performance up's & down's they had in
Amsterdam. shall the vote be intended as a "moral support" vote, being this
Agora their official first one? :-)

Network Commission

Total Votes 349
Valid Votes 305

AEGEE-Bucuresti 264 (=86.5%)
AEGEE-Groeningen 232 (=76.0%)
AEGEE-Poznan 228 (=74.7%)
Slupskyy, Sergiy 215 (=70.5%)

Always good result for Netcom elections: that's the advantage of working
closer to Locals... ;-)
AEGEE-Bucuresti and Sergiy Slupskyy continues their work after election in
Constanta one year ago. Both Central Region and WISEN region go back in the
hands of locals that were Network Commissioner until one year ago (Agora
Costanta)

Members Commission

Valid votes: 325

Vukov, Ivana 229 votes 70,5 %
Rijnsent, Koen 223 votes 68,6 %
Wiora, Dominika 220 votes 67,7 %
Overbeek, Parcifal van 169 votes 52,0 %

Not elected:
Ferrara, Amadeo 124 votes 38,2 %

Ivana is elected president of the MC, after 6 months membership; Koen and
Dominka escaped both from finances of AEGEE to members' matters; Parcifal
re-candidate for MC after failing elections in Ankara.
This is the official result for the Members Commission election, announced
by JC on Friday following the Agora.
Actually the results announced during the Sunday evening plenary session
were quite different from the one above, due to a mistype in transcription
that led to a miscalculation of percentages. After a second, late at Sunday
night, check, the mistake was cleared out.

CD Members

the only election you already had the chance to read a lot about during
these day! Shall we sum up the whole with an impartial tone? ;-)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The election of CD members required a second vote, being the results of the
previous voting suspicious: amongst 333 valid votes, 66 presented only one
cross (around 20%) The potential cause: the fact that in the ballot paper
was typed "you have 1 vote, you can make up to 1 cross" while, after the CD
resignation, the places available within the CD become 6, so that delegates
had the right to vote for 6 candidates (putting up to 6 cross)
The case caused several misunderstandings between the delegates and the
table (namely JC and Chair team) and a big chaos took over the plenary room
in few minutes: main point was an "objection" mentioned by the JC that made
the delegates feeling like if the "table" had the power to accept or reject
the votes of the Agora.
The unclear explanation given by the JC, the time-pressure that leaded to
very strict short-cuts, the whole Agora complaining for such a decision, the
lost power of the Chair to control the situation, the big mess of people
hanging around the room seeking for more information led to a big chaos and
an accusation of "defeat of democracy" towards AEGEE with the outcome you
saw on mailing lists... ;-)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The results of the previous voting were shown only after the closure of the
second voting, in order not to influence the previous decision of the
delegates and in order to test if such a high percentage of 1cross ballot
paper were only due to a lack of trust in the CD candidates or to a real
misunderstanding in the voting procedures

Here following the results:

CANDIDATE 2nd and official result 1st voting result

Diana Filip 79.3%
79.9%
Lipiec, Krzysztof 75.5%
74.5%
Magkou, Matina 74.5% 67.6%
Gumus, Hakan 72.3% 59.?%
Chudzik, Malgorzata 52.5% 52.6%
Albayrak, Dijan 44.3%
36.9%
Not elected
Mantika, Marcella 29.9% 24.9%

The re-elected members of the CD will keep their original task, a part from
Dijan that switched from FR to European Institutions. The new entries: Diana
will do FR and Malgorzata (Megi for friends) will do PR.
The second voting didn't changed that much in the results, proofing that
most of the delegate stuck to their first vote, while few other probably
changed opinion and used all the votes they were likely to use.
The new votes caused only very slight changes in personal results without
affecting the position of any candidates.

Secretary of AEGEE-Europe

Ritala, Susanna 93.5%

Congratulation to the new elected blonde former(?) president of
AEGEE-Helsinki! Susanna got famous during Agora in Ankara for the
HUG-coupons from AEGEE-Helsinki. The coupons entitle any possessor to get an
hug for free from any person to which the coupon is exhibited: she already
promised to give an open credit to all CD members to get hugs from her.
Feeling lonely? Dial +32-2-245 23 00 and ask for Susanna. :-)

Treaurer of AEGEE-Europe

Total Votes 342

de Beer, Mark 97.1%

Top score! Clearly the best and most successful candidate presentation! What
can a candidate for treasurer tell? Well, he made great jokes about his
name! And his "vote for beer" badges were one of the most sought gadgets
during the whole Agora!
Will he be able to stick to the strict budget Dominika drafted and the Agora
approved??? :-)

Helbin, Tomek 96.3%

Again a record the needs no comment!!! The former PR responsible of
AEGEE-Europe candidate for president and score high! Even higher than the
votes received for his candidature as PR resp in the CD in Ankara (79.0%)
Will Megi (new PR responsible) be able to write similar inspired telegrams?
At least we will finally get some telegram gossip about Tomek himself ;-)))
