Hi dear friends,

MONTHLY REPORT OF RAINBOW REGION JUNE 2001.

1.NetCom Meeting is approaching
2.Fund Raising for the first ES in Central Italy
3.New Contact Reggio Emilia
4.Contact Sarajevo announcement
5.Future Contacts?
6.PR Training Day by PRWG & AEGEE Venezia
7.Rainbow Events

1.NetCom Meeting is approaching,
the trimestral meeting of our Commission will be held in Brussels next
week, Silva Petrovic will come as Rainbow SubCommie.

2.Fund Raising for the first ES in Central Italy
AEGEE Roma is trying to solve big budget problems for organizing an ES next
December or later, all Board members are doing an hard job in this way, the
active member Fabrizio Fantini (also Rainbow SubCommie) is coordinating it,
but all team is losing motivation, because of the difficulties and because
Fabrizio was refused to participate to the ES II in Utrecht, the NetCom say
thanks officially to the great collaboration of the ES II Manager Niels
Hoffman for being so blind on this case. Fortunatly Carlos Miragall and
Sergio Maestri, from the CD, helped AEGEE Roma more than their normal
tasks, sincerly thanks.

3.New Contact Reggio Emilia,
a new Contact was approved by the CD, the NetCom is providing all the
informtion needed for motivating those people to sign the Convention
d'Adhesion as soon as possible.

4.Contact Sarajevo announcement,
Isabella Eisenberg was proud to announce the decision of signing the
Convention d'Adhesion at the next Agora in Ankara, without her work it
couldn't be possible to reach this very positive goal.

5.Future Contacts?
The NetCom was approached by some people intressted in founding new AEGEE
branches in Reggio Calabria, the Insubria University will support the
foundation of a new Local in Como-Varese, and (again) Fabrizio Fantini
already coordinate a group of AEGEE lovers interessting in founding AEGEE
in the Molise region.

6.PR Training Day by PRWG & AEGEE Venezia,
the first Internal Education Day will be held in Venice next 9 of July,
it'll be an experiment for future brief IE Events among all Rinbow Region,
with limitated but important goals. The lecturers are: Silva Petrovic
(AEGEE Zagreb, PRWG), Matina Magkou (NetCom, AEGEE Athina), Chiara
Benetazzo (AEGEE Treviso, Academy friend)

7.Rainbow Events,
· From 7 till 9 of September PM by AEGEE Valletta & AEGEE Europe (a Post PM
is planned)
· From 21 to 23 of September Fun Event by AEGEE Bergamo
· From 6 to 8 of October "Run to Europe III" By AEGEE Udine
· From 19 to 21 of October Tenth Anniversary Celebration in Ventotene

That's all for June, I've to say thanks to all SubCommies and people that
helped the NetCom work in this corner of the AEGEE Network: Silva Petrovic,
Fabrizio Fantini, Michele Foffano, Nicola Rega, Angela Comand, Gianmarco
Tagliani, Guido Cagnoni, Alberto Russo.

Regards.
