Dear SU organizers!

SU's are coming with enormous speed!
Preselection lists are out, most of you already did your selection, some of
you are still in middle of selecting participants.
This is the easy and for most of you very exciting work.
But this is not all you have to do!

What to do next (except the most important task: starting with preparations
:-)?

Here are some guidelines and rules you have to follow.

1. SELECTION PROCEDURE
After you selected participants to your SU, you have some responsibilities
towards them:
- you have to contact everyone who applied to your SU (also ones not
accepted or on a waiting list) PERSONALLY and tell them your decision!
- you have to publish selection on official SU website! Go to:
 http://www.karl.aegee.org/su.nsf/SelectionInfo?OpenForm and only (!) fill
in the fields for option no. 2
- it's not necessary, but is recommendable to publish your selection also on
SU-L because of the transparency ;-)
- communicate with your participants as much as you can and provide them all
the information they need...

2. FOR YOU MEMBERS
You should also take care of your own members that applied to SU's.
Some of them already got the information about acceptance to applied SU,
some of them not. You should inform them about their pre-selection
explaining that the final selection will be done until the 20th of may and
that it is always possible to check the status of their application on
http://www.karl.aegee.org/su.nsf/SelectionInfo?OpenForm (under option number
1 - they need their CSN). Also you can check it for them (under option no. 3
- you need export password and you see selection for all of your members).
Please make sure that the applicants of your local inform the organizing
antennae about their coming. so, remind the people to decide as soon as they
are accepted for a summer university if they will attend it or not! in that
way, organizers can select other applicants soon.

3. Course about AEGEE
Every local that is organizing SU should include also a basic AEGEE course
during SU - this is mandatory by the statutes!

I wish you all the great SU (like organizer or participant)!

Greetings from Maribor
Tamara
