Hello Rainbow Region!

I hope most of you are enjoying their vacations...

I just wanted to remind everybody that the Autumn PM 2004 will take place on 10-12 September in Aachen (Germany).

But what is the PM about??

Well, for those of you who did never attend it, here comes a short explanation.

The PM is one of the most important AEGEE events- actually it is the biggest statutory event after the Agora. It is a sort of "preparation" for the Agora (btw. taking place in november in Torino).
More than 200 participants from all over Europe are expected!!!

The Planning Meeting serves AEGEE as a Think-Tank and gives the opportunity to discuss structural issues as well as thematic developments. Especially the PM in fall is supposed to foster the implementation of projects, which will shape our Association's future. This time the participants will discuss about Case Study Trips to explore the Western Balkans and the Caucasus, Globalisation issues, EuroIslam and are planning to work on the implementation of the Yearplan project 2005 – "Hotspots" – which will focus on conflict areas. Other topics are the improvement in the structure of our Internal Education events, cooperation within our Network as well as the Statutory structure in AEGEE. So, don't hesitate, just apply and contribute to shaping AEGEE's face for 2005!

There is also a pre-conference to the PM on Friday 10th which will be
about AEGEE & NATO.

Of course there are not only the workshops but even a great social program in the evenings- just imagine a party with 200 people!

To find out more about the event check the website:

or you can apply right away:

Application deadlines are 6 August (visa-applicants) and 15 August
(non-visa-applicants)

DON'T MISS IT!

Rainbowly yours,

Anna
