1. Nursery work: Chieti, Siena and friends
Great development of our action in Chieti: the official request to be
appointed as official Contact already arrived to the CD, and in a few
days there will be the official answer. People there are enthusiastic
and ready to start their new experience.
Good results even with Siena: the request for creating the new Contact
Siena will arrive to the Headoffice in a few time.
We are even in contact with interested people in Taranto, and we are
optimist about possibilities there, and even in Podgorica, where we took
again the contact.
Contact Forlė is in contact with the JC for the Statute: signing in
Skopje is planned.
2. NetCom Trip in Croatia and Slovenia
The NetCom Trip I made in Croatia and Slovenia was indeed fruitful!
I had really useful and important meeting with the boards of
AEGEE-Rijeka and AEGEE-Zagreb in Croatia, and together we discussed
about the opportunity to organise a LTC in that zone, and even to set up
the next RM in a place easy reachable from the former-yugoslavian side
of the Region. In general I perceived a great feeling among all of us
and wonderful common visions.
In Slovenia I met the board of AEGEE-Maribor and together we discussed
first of all about FR and PR problems, and then we focused our attention
about the possibility to create good synergies in some projects,
especially in the one about Bosnia promoted at the NetCom Meeting in
Zielona Gora. Then I met even some new board-members of AEGEE-Ljubljana
and a representative of the previous one. The meeting was useful and I
promoted the ES in Beograd, great chance for the new members (and
board-members) of that great local. Even with AEGEE-Maribor and
AEGEE-Ljubljana we indicated as priority to have a common meeting of all
the locals of the eastern side of the Region at the next RM.
Finally in Ljubljana I had even an important meeting with Sasha Sirca,
experienced Rainbow SubCommie, and there I asked her to take care of the
management of the LTC in that part of the Region, and together we
considered as a good idea to involve even the Carpathian Region in the
project.
3. Plan of a LTC in Teramo
After a request we got from AEGEE-Teramo, we are planning to organise in
Teramo a LTC. Valentina Lucci is currently working on the project. The
goal is to involve even people from Chieti, AEGEE-Termoli,
AEGEE-Macerata, AEGEE-Roma and to set up a meeting devoted to the IE,
but even to the general information about AEGEE and first of all to the
integration and the communication among close locals.
Dates and details are in progress.
4. Rainbow Team meeting in Napoli
During the Public Relation European School Silvia Baita and Giselle
Spiteri Miggiani (SubCommissioners) and Davide Calenda, Fabrizio Fantini
and Amedeo Ferrara (Supporters and "friends" of the Team) were in Napoli
as trainers. When, in the last days, even Alice Traverso Bernini and
Valentina Lucci (SubCommissioners) went to visit us, we had the
possibility to set up a unplanned but really useful Rainbow Team
Meeting. We discussed about the results and the strategies coming from
the NetCom Meeting in Zielona Gora, about the common NetCom action in
Bosnia, about the possibility to support the Hot Team of the Far-West
Region in France, about the LTCs in Teramo and in Croatia, about the
next RM and about the unfortunate SUTC in Firenze we had to delete in
spite of the great results AEGEE-Firenze got in FR and logistic
organization.
The only sad point: unlucky we still have never had the possibility to
setup a real official Rainbow Team Meeting with the whole team present!

5. First step of the work in Bosnia planned in ZG
The first step we planned in Zielona Gora for our common action in
Bosnia was to start to get in touch with the locals and the Contacts
there, or at least to try to do it. Silvia Baita and Alice Traverso
Bernini are already sending e-mail and communications to the addresses
on the AB. Unfortunately till now they didn't get any answer, but I'm
still not completely pessimistic.
In the meantime we even got the support of Andra Lujic from
AEGEE-Maribor, Bosnian speaker and really interested in developing AEGEE
in that area. And in the same time Sandro D'Onofrio from AEGEE-Termoli
and AEGEE-Napoli is supporting us with a fruitful internet research
visiting all of the websites of the Bosnian universities and collecting
contacts and references.
6. Contacts
Monthly overview of the Contacts of the Rainbow Region.
Avellino-Benevento: I have a meeting with some of them! They were in
Napoli during the PRES and discussed about their condition with me and
Giselle. They are strongly motivated to sign in Skopje. :-))
Banja Luka: Unfortunately nothing new. No contacts with them. :-((
Forlė: Already in contact with the JC for the Statute: they're going to
sign in Skopje! :-))
Gorizia-Nova Gorica: Good contact with them, even if nothing really new.
:-)
Lecce: Again a good contact with them and good news about even some
fruitful meetings between the Contact Responsible and the other student
associations of the University. :-)
Parma: Unfortunately still no tracks about them! :-((
And that's all folks, till now! But many things are in progress in the
Rainbow Region!!! Let's see next time!!!
