Prologue
Su if our best way of promotion. Especially for new/fresh members.
It's a pity that the quality of the SU is very low. Isn't it?
And sometimes happens that quality grows down in the most famous
cities in Europe. Conclusion: people go the a "famous SU", find low
quality, next year they (and their friends!) won't join AEGEE anymore.
Neither you can hope they'll be active members, of course!
And on the other hand there are cities where the quality is very high,
but they're not famous and nobody cares them, except the few
enthusiastic people who join that SU.

In our region the quality has an important role. Why don't we use it
as our flag for a "revolution" inside the project?

My proposal
The problem is that parameters for organising a SU are very "soft".
But if we can't change it (rules cannot be change by people who are in
a better position!) we can contribute to let them change themselves.
How?
Why don't we decide new "facultative higher parameters"?
I explain this concept.
Now we have SE, LC, SU+ and TSU. Right?
If the Antenna decides to join higher parameters, it will be
recognised with an "*".
So if it will organise a LC with higher parameters, on the booklet
you'll recognise it because next to its name you'll see "LC*".

Possible consequences:
- in the short period: there will be privileged antennae who organise
  a SU with a higher level of quality;
- in the long period: a lot of Antennae will be interested in
  improving quality (competition!)

Problems:
Everything seems easy. The only point is: which are the parameters?
I think 2 are enough:

1) 2 meals per day (breakfast + lunch or dinner)
2) sleeping in beds (or on mattresses)

Ok. This is my proposal. I hope to hear your voice (in order to
increase or modify the project or in order to clarify some "dark
points").

Waiting for you.

Yours,

Nicola
