A Multimedia Festival in Sarajevo on the 27/12-02/01 2001 has been also
presented:nine AEGEE locals in Beograd, Ljubljana, Maribor, Niksic, Rijeka,
Sarajevo, Skopje, Zagreb will celebrate together the new Millenium ! ! ! !
The project is called VUCKO 2001 after the mascotte of the Olympic games in
Sarajevo in 1984.
AEGEE-Torino and AEGEE-Valletta probably will join Borderless Europe (AEGEE
Yearplan Project 2000) with seminars respectively on 'Obstacles to Free
Movement of Workers' and 'Visions for a European Higher education Area'.
The results of the project (including the Rally from Prague to on the
20/7-10/8.2000, an Essay Contest and a final conference to evaluate
the activities of the seminars) will be all collected in a booklet.
The project team is still looking for organisers of seminars on these
topics:
- Development of the Schengen Area,
- Integration Processes: A Comparative Analysis,
- Integration of Foreign Workers.

AEGEE Europe is inviting you to the conference The Europe of the 15+
in Brussels at the European Parliament in the occasion of the 15th
Anniversary of AEGEE.
Effects of the EU enlargement, and the consequent opening up and
closing of borders,the free movement of people as the removal of
mental and physical barriers against mobility of young people in
Europe will be main objectives of the conference.
Two workshops at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the
European Union and the Mission of Poland to the European Union will
follow on the 9th June 2000.
(The conference is in the frame of the AEGEE Yearplan Project 2000
Borderless Europe)

Our Common Future: Towards a Sustainable Europe
It will consist of three parts:
- Internet University (03-07.08),
- European Youth Congress 06-12.08) with 400 young Europeans and
experts.
- Rally of Youth (starting the 13th) wich will spread resolution of
the congress to the capitals of Europe.
AEGEE could help organising local events in the countries during the
rally of Youth.
Aims: increase awareness of a policy of sustainability, foster EU
integration, improve political education of young people.
