Did you get many enthusiastic members who are helping you preparing your SU? Have you been thinking what you'll do with all those enthusiasts after your SU ;-) Don't lose them, let them get involve in one of the greatest projects: EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES!

Are you a native English speaker? Yet, you understand this e-mail.
Then you know how important it is to be able to communicate with other foreign people, to have friends from other countries, to understand other cultures and have a saying about all these.
19th of November 2003 is the right day to celebrate
· the linguistic diversity,
· the plurilingualism
· the necessity of learning languages for a better communication among peoples of Europe.
19th of November is the date when AEGEE is organizing EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES 2003, with the support of the Council of Europe!
To keep an already 2- years- long tradition, AEGEE will celebrate the EDL this year as well. Events will be taking place all over Europe!
· You can't stay aside because you are a foreign tongue speaker and you know how important it is to get along with other young people by speaking the same language!
· You have to get involved because AEGEE members are active young people, cherishing the linguistic richness of this continent.

Ø HOW TO GET INVOLVED?
There are many language-related projects that need your enthusiasm and support. You can choose one of the actions below, more, all of them or come up with new ones:
· Try to motivate more people from your antenna and start to organize an event:
-language course,
- language fair,
- contest,
- conference,
- seminar etc
· Spread the word
-help to make sure as many people as possible are informed about the Day, by publicizing it to friends and colleagues, in newsletters, on websites, at meetings
· Alert the public of the importance of language learning:
- write an essay about it and publish it
· Increase awareness and appreciation of ALL the languages spoken in Europe
- take part into / or try to organize a case study to show how a language speaks out about the people using it.
· Debate about the advantages and disadvantages of learning one universal language
