RAINBOW REGION - JUNE 2004 ACTIVITY REPORT
Hello again!
Summer time is always hard for a regional team cause reactions are always
slower, and people are always dealing with exams and with a sweeping desire
to go on holiday. But summer time means even SUs, PR campaigns, and in general
many hard steps for an AEGEE local, and then there's anyway always a lot
of work.

1. Communication Team activity
- The subteam is active in promoting IE events and projects. Definitely
in this period it's really useful and important, because people are often
distracted, and it's easy to miss some good opportunities (as the PRES in
Mannheim, or the ES2 in Rotterdam).
- In the meantime the subteam is preparing the material for the AEGEE structure
promotion we will start in September.

2. Support Team activity
- The subteam is contacting the locals in order to get reports concerning
their condition. Many reports are arriving. It will be just a first step
directed to update us about the general condition of the Region, but it
has to be immediately followed by a strategy of support of those locals
who appeared as the weakest ones.
- First contacts for the organization of next Mini-RMs and first analysis
for the RM (open call sent to Rainbow-l.

3. Nursery Team activity
- Unfortunately the LTC in Chieti had to be cancelled because of there were
not enough participants. It unfortunately depends on the difficult period.
But all the material already prepared, and the organization already set
up will be for sure useful for next time. It's only postponed!
- Great results with AEGEE-Catania (first SU organized and then ready for
the upgrading to the status of Antenna) and with Contact Lecce, going to
sign in Torino, but already involved in cooperating actively with the SU
of AEGEE-Bari.

4. Missions
- The work in Bosnia is going on. Andra is now dealing with AEGEE-Sarajevo
for what concerns the legal registration of the local (there are some bureaucratic
difficulties, but they will be solved asap). In the meantime the cooperation
with the IPWG is going on too, and all the action will be discussed at the
NM in Bruxelles.
- Even the work on the website is going on, and in Bruxelles the Rainbow
team will take some minutes for an internal meeting devoted to decide the
contents of the new website Marino is taking care of.
