RAINBOW REGION - SEPTEMBER 2004 ACTIVITY REPORT

Dear AEGEE-friends,

Here comes the september’s activity report of the Rainbow region; this
has been a really intensive month for the whole region: after the
previous meeting in Salerno, the whole Rainbow met all together in the
Regional Meeting 2004, in a place like Ljubljana, that most of all could
be considered the heart of the whole Region. So, stay tuned… :)

In this issue:

1) Regional meeting
2) Communication Team activity
3) Support Team activity
4) Nursery Team activity

----------------------------------------------------------------------

1) REGIONAL MEETING IN LJUBLJANA

The Regional Meeting, as Luca already officially announced on the AEGEE
mailing lists, has been a huge success. The meeting was mostly focused
in the internal education, with workshops concerning the most important
topics in AEGEE: Local and European level, Public Relations, Fond
Raising, Projects and Working Groups. The whole staff team was really
happy to see, after this event, so many people enthusiastic and willing
to be more and more active in their locals, and hopes that this could be
the beginning of a much closer relation between the NetCom and all the
locals of the region.

The Rainbow Team wants to give its warmest thanksgiving to the whole
staff team (Luca Falcone, Silvia Baita, Francesca Fedrizzi, Alice
Traverso Bernini, Virag Szabo and Marino Bresciani, as well as Sasha
Sirca for her collaboration). Moreover, a big THANK YOU to Spela Debenak
and all the team of AEGEE-Ljubljana, for their great logistical
organization.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

2) COMMUNICATION TEAM (Vesna, Anita, Anna and Benedetta)

- The work on the promotion of the RM in Ljubljana has been successfully
completed and has given the wanted results: the Regional Meeting in
Ljubljana has collected members coming from more than 20 different
locals, from Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, creating an authentic
international spirit during the whole event.

- The work on the presentation of AEGEE to the regional mailing lists is
almost ready, and it will start very soon in the future.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

3) SUPPORT TEAM (thanks to Alice, Andra, Barbara, Marino and Francesca)

- Not so much more to say here: during the RM, the participants had the
chance to discuss and talk about the current situations of their local
antennas, and all the team gave their full availability for suggestions
and indications, obtaining now a much clearer vision of the status of
the whole region

- In the future, the whole support team is going to work for helping the
locals in a more critical situation, and getting more news from the ones
not present at the Regional Meeting

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

4) NURSERY TEAM (Giselle, Alberto, Claudio and Valentina)

- The Rainbow team is proud to inform you that Contact Siena, Contact
Lecce and Contact Gorizia/Nove Gorica successfully submitted their
application for signing the Convention d’Adesion in Torino!!! Greatest
thanks to Anna, Sasha and Giselle for their close contact with these new
upcoming Contact Antennas.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s all for this month, see you next month!

On behalf of the Rainbow Team,
MaRiNo Bresciani
