Dear friends,

Last weekend there was Socrates on the Move Steering
Group meeting at the new ESIB office in Brussels. We
worked on a logo and a promotion leaflet, discussed
the detailed programme of the Training in Brussels,
and made a first selection of Socrates Promoters.

So far, approximately 20 Promoters have been selected.
The small number (30 places are still available) is
mostly due to a lack of applications. We did not have
very many yet, and ESIB and ESN had even less.
Therefore, the deadline for applications has been
postponed until February 19th (next Saturday).

Thanks to all of you who have already expressed an
interest in the project. We have to admit that we were
surprised (and secretly proud ;-) to have better
results than the other organisations, so far. Almost
all of our applicants have been accepted, moreover.

It really seems that the project will be FUN, and a
very valuable experience for all of us! We hope,
therefore, that many of you will still apply to join
the international team of Socrates Promoters.

Greetings from Brussels and from Izmir,

Sebastian and Linda
