I am glad to say that the CD gave us the permission to have Mr. Demetrio
Volcic as patron of Aegee Udine.
He is Member of European Parliament, Vice President of WEO, Member of the
Council of Europe, "shadow" relator for relationships between Russia and EU,
Vice President of the Commission who is valueting the admission of Slovenia
at EU, Member of Italian Parliament (Senato), former director of the
national channel tv-news, and many other things that I can not remember ;-).
He has already cooperated with Aegee Udine, as relator in the European Event
"A Glance to East", that took place here last April. People really loves
him, because he has a lot of experience, he is very friendly with young
people. The discussion with the guys at the end of the event was really
endless, because the guys were really interested in, and they were asking
him a lot of questions about Balkans and East. I have never seen people so
interested in such boring things as politics and history!!!
He has spent all his life in believing in Europe, and he is still.
He is available to partecipate as relator to our conference and events,
according to his official calendar.
