We know you have many talents and that's why this message is sent to YOU. One of the biggest projects, Find Europe, needs your help or help of your members. I'm sure among all your members there are some interested in working in multicultural environment. It's a great chance, so don't miss it. Open Call for co-ordination team: 
                                                                project Find Europe 
 

Dear all,

As you may remember at the Agora Bucuresti in Constanta only 3 weeks ago we made an open call for new team members for the project FIND EUROPE. You the network voted upon the idea to gain new team members, however there were no applicants. 

 

The idea was born in the heads of 4 Italian friends about a year ago. They proposed it to the CD and at the Agora Athina the project was voted upon as AEGEE Europe project. Currently the team members don`t seem to have enough time and they are urgently lacking an IT expert too. It is a culture-oriented project with the aim of bringing people together and promoting certain events as well as drawing all of us` attention to different events and happenings in Europe.

 

Therefore now I`d like to call for people who might be interested to co-ordinate the project to contact me, so that I can provide you with further information regarding the project: [log in to unmask]

-          Main co-ordinator

-          Treasurer

-          Fund-raising Responsible

-          IT Responsible

-          PR Responsible

 

Please find below the concise description of the project:

 

Find Europe is a long term project that aims at co-ordinating and developing high-quality cultural events in AEGEE for all the year long. The advantages brought from such a project are easy to perceive at any level:

the association will live a new life made of active locals, many interested and active members and more cultural events, that are the most important vehicles to take people to know Europe;

locals will be brought to have a better mix between local and European activities with the support of the Find Europe Co-ordination Team and they will also benefit of having more active members; locals will receive both personal assistance and web based tools as support to all steps of their activity as event organizers: from the website where to describe their event to the photo gallery and the mailing list server, from ad hoc advertisements even to financial support, co-ordinated fund raising, publications and whatever the project will demand;

members will for sure find in AEGEE the perfect conditions to stay and grow culturally and to become active at local and European level;

events will be highly cultural: oriented to know the city where the event is organized, habits of its people, food and traditions, some of them will be made right with the purpose to have the chance to live a peculiar traditional event (like the Carnival could be for Venice, the Oktoberfest for Munich, the Feria for Sevilla and so on); quality of events within Find Europe will be one of the point under the spot: 2 meals per day, lodging for at least 4 nights, cultural activities, social programme and Speed Course about AEGEE will be included in the cheap fee.
