Dear Network,
in Barcelona AEGEE Udine was elected as member of Network Commission.
We take the responsability to charge as Netcom for Malta, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia in order to let a "Team" born and grow up. This Aegee Udine should support the Team giving all the possible help about what regard means and people.
People from different Antennae should join the Team and, sharing duties, to act as Netcom.
But the Statute doesn't consider any Team as Netcom, since only Antennae or single persons could be elected. In order to have a Team directly elected by Agora we should change the Statute, that, as many people said, should have been voted in Poznan.
We took this charge in order to fill a transitory situation, while the amendment should promoted in the past 6 months (from Barcelona to Poznan) and approved. The Team should have started to work since Barcelona waiting to be officially elected as Network Commission.
Now Aegee Udine considers that:
- there is no proposal to change the Statute regarding the Netcom to introduce a Team;
- the project "MISC TEAM" failed, and that shows that the idea to give the responsability of Network to a Team of people coming from so different Antennae quite far from each other now is not possible, in our Region;
AEGEE UDINE thinks that the bases on which we decided to take that charge are changed, and so, according to the aims that brought us to be elected, WE RESIGN AS MEMBER OF NETWORK COMMISSION, starting from the next Autumn Agora in Poznan.
With this act, we hope a discussion inside the Region in order to understand why the Team Proposal failed and to give the chance to a person or Antenna to take again the responsability to hand on the Regione, that, since Adana's PM, has as new member also Bosnia-Herzegovina.
