Dear AEGEE friends,... ... I'm sorry for my long absence: I had (now I haven't!) a virus in my computer and I couldn't use Outlook Express. But now everything is ok and I started again to send and receive. And I knew the problems were explaned by Sasha concerning the VFF WG. I hope we will resolve this difficult moment. I believe in this, and I'm sure to be not the only one. However "A VISA FOR AEGEE" must arrive to the end, the most important moment: we must conclude. Then let start to see what we have and what we haven't: 1) we have some schedules about the AEGEE locals: I received schedules from AEGEE Adana, AEGEE Ankara, AEGEE Antalya, AEGEE Beograd, AEGEE Blagoevgrad, AEGEE Bucuresti, AEGEE Cluj Napoca, AEGEE Donetsk, AEGEE Ivano-Frankivs'k, AEGEE Kyiv, AEGEE Magusa, AEGEE Moskva, AEGEE Nizhni Novgorod, AEGEE Novi Sad and AEGEE Sighetu Marmatiei. They're a few compared with how many locals there are, but however we can introduce these presentations like sorts of exemples. I'm very disappointed for this so diffuse indifference. I'd like to thank a lot Blendi Dibra, President in AEGEE Shkoder, for the schedule I received so speedy. Unfortunately, after some info I asked, we must renounce to involve Contacts in the project because of juridical problems. There can be only A and CA. I'm still a bit sad for this nasty but necessary thing and I hope to get out of debt with the local in Shkoder in a not far future, when they will become a Contact Antenna before, and then an Antenna. Best wishes! And sorry! An other important thing: if there is a local who sent the schedule and is not present in the list above (I don't think, really, but remember I'm coming out from a virus!), please send me it again. I want to thank people worked with me in this collection: Diana Filip and Olga Valchuk, and the NetComs Matina Magkou, Davor Abramovic and Ivan Petrenko. 2) we have a very good presentation letter of AEGEE signed by our President Karina Haeuslmeier and our Vice-President Sergio Maestri. Thank both of them very much . 3) we have, I knew only from a few time (the virus again, of course!), a letter from mrs Rita Sussmuth, President of the German Parliament, that can be a wonderful intercession with the Italian Government. Through Ivana Vukov we asked for the intercession of two or three patrons, but as we can see this contact is very difficult. I haven't read mrs Sussmuth's letter, but surely it would be very useful. Then I thank Ivana for her efforts and I ask her to advice me sending them if she will receive other letters from patrons. Until the last moment we must be prepared to add those letters: they are very important. 4) we have not the letter in Italian with the official request, and it's my task. Don't worry! As soon as I receive mrs Sussmuth's letter and as soon we read it, Davide Calenda (NetCom for Italy) and I will write the request. Then now there is the last part of the project, and it concerns ITALIAN LOCALS : we will send on rainbow-l and on this mailing list the Italian letter for the Government and then, Italian locals Presidents please, read it and authorize us to sign the letter also with your name representing your local. DON'T FORGET IT, PLEASE. In that moment, when I have the complete material for the Government (request, presentation letter from the CD, intercessions from the patrons, schedules), I will ask for the help of Franco Manna (President in AEGEE Roma, he just accepted with his local to contribute. Thank you!) for the delivery to the Italian Government. That's all, friends. "A VISA FOR AEGEE" didn't die! It's living and I think we are near the end. A good end. See you!
