::: Students propose New European Educational Programme

European Education Campaign – EURECA, a project run in 2002 by AEGEE, has been concluded with a draft of a new European Education Programme. It proposes to introduce “Blended Learning”, wider use of summer courses combined with the e-learning. Education programs should be implemented with special focus on exchanges between EU and candidate countries, also for future rounds of enlargement.
In order to complement the current programs, we propose to include in the next generation of education programs a form of “Blended Learning”, combining aspects of presence learning and e-learning/distance learning for merging physical mobility with virtual mobility.

::: Students' Convention

The Students' Convention - final conference of "Universities to Debate Europe" - brought the closure to the project managed by the four largest student Networks in Europe: AEGEE, JADE, ESIB and ESN.
The event took place in Brussels, between 19th and 21st of December. European Parliament and Polish Mission to the EU hosted the debates on the 20th December.
Participants, supported by experts, had the chance to share their views and visions on the Future of Europe. The workshops and lectures were held within the frame of three pillars: EU Enlargement, Education and Institutional reform.

::: Historical Step Forward in Copenhagen

AEGEE-Europe welcomes the historical outcomes of the Copenhagen Summit and sees its relevance for voicing the visions and ideas of young people. AEGEE hopes that the further Enlargement of the European Union will increase the chances of young people for greater mobility and that students' involvement into the EU decision-making processes will be strengthened.

::: AEGEE Education Policy Paper

AEGEE-Europe has been carefully following the discussions concerning Education, which take place within the Bologna Process, EU activities - such as the Lisbon Process, as well as the impact of General Agreement on Trade and Services on Education. AEGEE representing active, European-minded students, working without a national level, sees the need of stronger involvement of students in the discussion.
