AEGEE Europe's statement on the assasination of Serbian Prime Minister
AEGEE-Europe, the European Students' Forum, is deeply concerned about the last happenings and current situation in Serbia. AEGEE, striving for Peace and Stability as one of the main pillars of our activities, sees the assassination of Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic as an attack on democratic European values and a threat to stabilization in the whole region.

Being strongly represented in the Serbian student communities AEGEE is aware of the possible consequences of this unforgivable criminal act and assures of all necessary support to the AEGEE members and their student colleagues in Serbia. We hope that the process of democratisation of the region will not be affected and Serbia will continue its economic and social development.
