     :: AEGEE's involvement into the YES! Campaign::   
      AEGEE,took part in the launch of the Yes! Campaign, organised by European Movement International and JEF Europe. By joining this Europe-wide coalition, members of the organization strongly support the involvement of young people in this information campaign about the Constitution throughout the ratification process. The association hopes that this document will be ratified 25 times, hence they urge the EU states and all the NGOs to inform and involve as many citizens as its possible in order to have a big turnout in the coming referenda and a positive result at the end of the ratification process.

     :: AEGEE welcomes the next steps towards European Integration::  
      AEGEE, the European Students' Forum, welcomes the next step towards the European integr ion of the countries of Western Balkans. Today the government of Republic of Macedonia in Brussels submitted the data from the questionnaire, prepared by the European Commission. AEGEE-Europe has active locals in the Country since 1993: our members in Skopje and Prilep through the organization of several Projects (more than 170 local and European Projects and two Statutory events) have shown to be a living example of democracy and European integration

     :: 20 years of AEGEE::   
      The AEGEE 20 project encompasses all official and unofficial celebrations of the 20th anniversary of AEGEE-Europe. Through media events, social activities, publications and a new website, the project will draw attention to the achievements of AEGEE-Europe over 20 years, the important and valuable role it has played in the process of European Integration, and the contributions it has made in the lives of its members.

     :: Essay Competition 2005::  
      What are the biggest obstacles you face in your daily life?
      What practical solutions would you propose to build a secure future for yourself and others? The World Bank together with AEGEE organises the Essay Competition 2005.

      The proposals are very important to discuss and share with a broad range of actors working for development: the World Bank, several UN agencies, development specialists, media, and universities worldwide.

     :: Europe for dummies::  
      AEGEE-Amsterdam will organise a conference named 'Europe for Dummies' starting the 24th and ending the 27th of February. Three days filled with interesting lectures by experts on the European Union, exciting workshops about the EU, a spectacular final discussion about the European Union's future with several experts

     :: Youth for development::   
      From 15th until 22th of February, 25 youth leaders from all over Europe will gather in Odessa forThe Youth for Development Training Course aims at exploring and widening the development capabilities of active young people who are in a position to act as 'multipliers' so as to contribute to sustainable development for their communities. Orientated on the change that youth CAN bring about in their immediate surroundings, the training course will provide participants with the tools and know-how needed not solely to ameliorate their immediate surroundings, but also on the global stage in general
