Ethnic Diversity: provoking conflicts?

 

 The Kosovo conflict is of great up-to-dateness due to the negotiations concerning the future status of the Kosovo in 2005. The goal of the conference is to understand the roots, the development and the consequences of ethnic conflicts in general and of the Kosovo conflict.

 

In lectures, discussions and workshops we want to get information about the Kosovo conflict, discuss current problems and search for possible solutions. The workshops will treat the political, humanitarian and economic situation.

Moreover we want to support the "Education for Democracy" programme.
