Open Call for second fundraiser and treasurer
Due to the absence of our fundraiser Patrik between August and October, the TAP-team searches for a second fundraiser who can also take over tasks of a treasurer.
What you need to bring:
- first of all you need a great motivation to work for AEGEE on a European level
- you should have some experiences with fund applications at your local level. If you already have written a successful application, you know that the funds put a lot of attention to the correctness and well-fittingness of applications to the fund requirements.
- you have to be interested in the topic of conflict solution and conflict management.
- you need some time. Fund applications can be time-consuming in the days before a deadline.
- preferably, you will stay
in our team till the end of the Yearplan project in spring 2006 also when Patrik comes back in October.
What your task will be:
- writing fund applications for Yearplan events – not a big surprise… But with that you will not be alone, applications are always written in close co-operation with the local organisers and the content co-ordinators of the TAP-team. But before all that, your task will be to…
- …identify promising funds. Here again a “but”: but you don’t start from cero. In AEGEE, the TAP-team and the CD there is plenty of knowledge about FR possibilities. Your task is to “scan” the fund requirements and to check up with the local organisers and the team if our events fit to them.
- Setting up budgets also belongs to a fund application. Together with the local organisers, you have to calculate a budget for the planned event.
