The most classic, of course, was Chrysler Corporation under then its CEO, the enigmatic Lee Iacocca, I just changed an order to buy Delphi Corp (DPHIQ http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=DPHIQ&sid=0&o_symb=DPHIQ&x=12&y=19 NYSE) at 0.47/sh (on 10/10), and subsequently had it executed at that price from an original order of 0.40/sh after hearing some good report from WQXR. It immediately came back to $0.474/sh, the investors’ positive response to favorable court rulings regarding its Chapter 13 proceedings and subsequent financial and management realignment. So it helps to listen to classical music with infrequent worldwide reporting centered in New York!
This new alert came on the heels of a previous one in which I announced my order to buy FREMONT (FMT - http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/quickchart/quickchart.asp?symb=fmt&sid=0&o_symb=fmt&freq=1&time=8). That order was fortunately executed at 20.00/sh and now represents the biggest component of my portfolio (25.2%).
