Subject: [AEGEE-L] +CONSULTATION process- ACTION needed+ Proposition for new YOUTH Programme by the Commission
To: [log in to unmask]
Precedence: list
Content-Length: 1401

Good evening,
again today I will ask for your attention :-)

This email contains very important information on the grant programme =
which will be run after YOUTH Programme finishes at the end of 2006, so =
please READ it carefully and then TAKE THE ACTION in your hands...

Today I attanded a meeting organised by the European Youth Forum and the =
European Commission where we discussed the YOUTH IN ACTION Programme, =
which will follow the current YOUTH Programme, under the new EU =
budget-line (2007-2013).

Some of the propositions by the Commission are really new, and some of =
the changes very radical and will definitely influence many of AEGEE =
activities planned as future YOUTH IN ACTION projects.=20

Since the proposal of the Programme itself is still in the drafting =
stage, AEGEE has a chance to express its opinion and propose better =
solutions to particular issues. Therefore I invite everybody who feels =
an interest in the YOUTH IN ACTION Programme to take part in the

CONSULTATION PROCESS on the YOUTH IN ACTION Progrmme of the European =
Commission

We will discuss internally (as AEGEE Members) about issues important for =
us and then pass our comments to be presented further on to the =
Commission. We are one of a very few International NGOs present in the =
process of shaping the programme, so I hope we can push forward many of =
our ideas.

Since not everybody has to be interested in the topic, the discussion =
and the whole consultation process will take place on the =
YOUTHMULTIPLIERS mailing list. Everybody is welcome to join and =
contribute in the discussion! In case of problems with subscribing, =
please let me know ([log in to unmask])=20

We will work step by step on different Actions of the new programme and =
also on the content of the USERS GUIDE for the new programme. First part =
of YOUTH IN ACTION Programme proposal will be sent to the list tomorrow =
evening, so don't be late :-)

I Hope to again see AEGEE raising its voice on the issues important for =
us!!! And you can be sure that you will find in the proposal many things =
that should still be improved... but this you can check yourself =
tomorrow evening on the YOUTHMULTIPLIERS-L... see you there!!!=20

warm greetings
kasia
