Description of the event/ remarks:
Theatre is a form of art continuously evolving and growing, it’s colour, movement and spin!

20 students from all over Europe will have the opportunity to explore the magic and intriguing world of theatre, through their body and their voice. Drama is a supreme expression of the zest of life, enjoy the chance of attending a performing workshop with a young director from Colombia.
It will be the chance to let your creativity bloom, to learn how to know and trust yourself and improve your physical agility, experimenting new possibilities of expression and sharing an unforgettable experience with other new friends.

We will also visit the beautiful city of Padova (where the play The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare takes place), drink the typical aperitif “spritz”
chilling out in the piazza in the evening with other students from our city, partying and clubbing at night. Waking up with a good cappuccino or espresso at the café to get ready to go on stage!

“When we talk about theatre and it’s wide machinery, the only thing that really matters is the actor:
responsible for the performance and the creator of magic and fantasy”

-Every participant will bring a traditional song from his country as a present for the others, this will help us as a vocal deepening trough the creation of a personal language (gramlò) and the construction of new ways of communication.

-In the morning we will focus on the body and its performing possibilities

-In the afternoons we will focus our work on the lecture of some
Shakespeare’s plays, analysing them together and working on them.

-We will start working on the improvisation and we’ll continue to work on the texts individually or in small groups to fix the attention on the interpretation and the development of a character.

-On the last morning we will show our characters enriching them with costumes, make-up and other stage props!
