Dear Friends,

Despite the tough plenaries I had :) I am back, this time to say few things, hopefully well.

Most of all the people it's us who should thank Anna for building off the wall of not communication which had raised lately among our locals,

for never getting discouraged when out of our insistence we were getting few results, though good,

for putting together a bit of german strictness, hungarian passion, italian mess :) and be the netcommie of all of us.

Thank you Anna for your work, for giving back to all of us the possibility to believe in the Rainbow dream..

Silvia

Dear friends,

it was really a pleasure to see many of you again at this great Agora.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE, our Region was awarded as the one that submitted most activity plans (thanks to which AEGEE-Europe prepared successfully the application for the administrative grant). So thanks again for your cooperation!
It was really great for me being awarded at the end of my term :))

I also would like to congratulate and wish good luck to all the elected "Rainbowists":

Alistair - we met at the SU Valletta 2002 when you were new in Aegee and we were singing "Alistair president" - so you were motivated to become President since the very beginning, didn't you? :))))

Dino - I think we met for the first time at Agora Torino, when I saw you I thought: "Who is that guy with the elegant jacket breakdancing during the party?"  You have an incredible energy and this makes you perfect for your new job - good luck and you know you can always count on me ;)

Micky - always efficient, never tired - thanks for organising a Regional meeting, for being my subcommie and thanks for driving me to Prague and forcing me to listen to Enrico Ruggeri during the whole trip (well.. u know I prefere salsa :))

Alexianne - many events passed together since 2002, congratulations for the excellent result and good luck for another term as President of the Juridical commission.

Marino - we met at your first event in Budapest and from then on you are travelling through Europe, changing your home every month :)) thanks for being my IT and putting online the Telegramms - and good luck with Find Europe!

Antenna award: Aegee-Ljubljana didn't win but this was very difficult considering the great Agora in Izmir which was in the memory of everybody. Anyway congratulations for the good result and keep on like this! We are proud of you :)

Aegee-Napoli: what to say.. My first event in Napoli was in 2002 and it is really amazing that many of the people I met in 2002 are still active and actually are the main organizers of the next Agora! I'm really looking forward to it!!

And the Agora after... organised by Aegee-Valletta! A PM and an EBM was apparently not enough for our friends from Valletta - great to see such a motivation and enthusiasm! Congratulations!!!

One of the greatest news is that Aegee-Budapest is back!!!!
After 2 years of absence... WELCOME BACK!
Even if officially not in Rainbow, we were thinking about kidnapping them :)))

And how could I not mention all the people I was working with during my term: Thanks for your support guys!
Luca: thanks for motivating me to join the european level! U know it was your "fault" ;)
Silvia: it's difficult to meet such an aegee-addicted person like her...she has never enough of it! Thanks for all your support to the Rainbow team!
Jelena: our blond Rainbow-angel, serious at work and less serious at parties ;)) Thanks for joining me at the Netcom meeting in Berlin (we had lots of fun) and for organising the last Regional meeting!
Davor: Super-Davor is not afraid of driving for 1800 km for a Netcom-trip crossing Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro (toghether with Jelena). Thanks for your precious work in the Rainbow team!
Giselle: subcommie since 2002, a record! Thanks for everything sorellina!
Benedetta: thanks for your support, especially during last netcom meeting in Berlin.

Thanks also to Davide Calenda (my grandfather), to Francesca Fedrizzi (especially for your support for last RM), to Paolo Santoni (for all the work he did with the locals in Tuscany) and to ALL OF YOU working for your local with enthusiasm.

After this long email, let me wish good luck for the new Rainbow Team and DON'T FORGET: RAINBOW ROCKS!!!

Hugs from Firenze,
your "ex"
Anna
