Dear Dino,
First of all congratulations for your new position within the Rainbow Region & AEGEE.

It is an honour for AEGEE to have such an active and busy region. Evenmore, when i see my antenna AEGEE-Valletta contributing alot to the network, up to this day. I recall, Corinne Cordina and Angie Mifsud, very active with Key to Europe magazine, Margaret Fenech involved in the Organising Committee of than, WELCOME EUROPE project ... Noel Debono, who created the WELCOME EUROPE logo, up to these recent years .... Giselle Spiteri Miggiani, who needed housing help in Firenze for her studies, and ended up super-mega active in Italian antennas and region, Alexianne Galea ... now JC President, and our very own President of the whole network ... Alistair De Gaetano. All this achieved with hard work and within just 10years since we have been set-up, by our founding president Roger Bugeja.

The AGORA is the cherry on the cake ... of 10 hard working years .... in organising conferences, SU's, PM, EBM and many other local activities. Not only, but the organisation of the AGORA in Malta, shall bring back "AEGEE-Valletta oldies" to assist in the project and support the organising committee members. The team is a mix of past and present members ... together with one aim .. that of organising an important event in Malta, to celebrate our 10th year anniversary with our AEGEE network friends.

For your records, also .. AEGEE-Valletta is a very active student organisation on University of Malta campus. Patricia Borg was on the University Student Council as International Officer, and as from July, our outgoing president, David Ciliberti .. shall take the post of Secretary General of the same council.

Hope that our antenna will keep contributing more towards the benefit of AEGEE spirit and ideals.

Sincere congratulations to all!!!

Regards
Marco Debono
Ex-Vice-President AEGEE-Valletta
AGORA Organising Committee member

Dear RAINBOW FRIENDS,

Nuntio vobis gaudium magnum .....HABEMUS NETWORK COMMISSIONER!!!!

After an intensive, unforgettable and amazing AGORA, I'm really glad to write you this short email, for the first time,  as your Netcommie !!!

THANKS A LOT FOR ALL!!

I want to thank, above all, my  predecessor Anna Karger for her great trust in my skills, Silvia Baita, for her irreplaceable support, the "master" Luca Falcone for his important suggestions, all my dear friends of the Rainbow Team ( Jelena, Davor, Marino, Michele, Benedetta, Giselle and all the others...) to which I spent marvellous time, expecially during the RMs and the AGORAs.... And, of course, everyone of YOU!!

By yesterday I just started to work to get the best benefits for our Network; the first step is to build the new strong and experienced Rainbow team that will support my work and together with them,  I'll plan the next Netcom-trips around our Region, because I really want that you'll feel the "presence" of your next Rainbow team in your locals....
 Thumbs Up

First of all, I have to get a clear overview of our Region, because I want to know how the things are really going in every locals to find the right solutions for every problems. So, the next week you'll receive a form that you must fill in and send it to me as soon as possible.

My task will be to enhance the communication among the locals, supporting it to be more and more active in european level and to focus on information, education and cooperation to keep the locals up to date and ensure their continuity, so I'm going to organize some LTCs to enhance the knowledge of our association and I'm going to promote a strong cooperation with other NGO's ( yesterday night I had a first meeting with some representatives) and the vision of an open Network getting in touch with the euro-mediterranean organization.

As you can realise, there's a lot to do...

IT'S THE TIME..... LET'S BUILD TOGETHER OUR RAINBOW DREAM!!!!

I'm ready and you ??? :-)

Last but not least, on behalf of all the Rainbow I want to wish all the best to:

ALISTAIR DE GAETANO (  President of AEGEE Europe, member of AEGEE Valletta)

MICHELE TURATI (  Financial Director of AEGEE Europe, member of AEGEE Brescia)

MARINO BRESCIANI ( FIND EUROPE PROJECT TEAM, member of AEGEE Bari)

... and wish all the best to the great organizers of the two next AGORAs:

AEGEE NAPOLI ( FALL AGORA 2006)

AEGEE VALLETTA ( SPRING AGORA 2007)

I'm so proud that our Region will organize the two next AGORAs!!  Always at your disposal!!

AEGEEFULLY YOURS,

Dino Margiotta
