  The time that we were all waiting for! The day that the European School 2 will take place again is coming! But it needs home! Sooo If you want to host the next European School 2 in Spring 2007(preferably a bit before the agora) check the information below!

  What is a European School 2

  The ES2 is AEGEE Europe’s most advanced training course. Focusing on higher project and organization management within the framework of NGO work, the ES2 is a place for visionaries to blink to the future, where youth leaders get together and work together building a solid base for future projects to start from.

 In the program of the European School 2 the two main aims are clearly reflected:

   Advanced project management and European level leadership
   Development of skills to work in teams under time pressure, be able to communicate inter-culturally, be creative and know one's strengths and weaknesses
  ES2 is a very intense event of 10 days filed with work and 9 nights filed with partying!
  What has to be taken cared by your local?

   Accommodation for 25 participants and 15 full time and external trainers approximately, preferably in a comfortable place with beds
   3 meals per day and coffee breaks
   Taking care of the necessary logistics for the training programme (rooms for lectures and technical equipment)
   Preparing a SUPER and exciting social programme including one night 'a la banquet' party
   Providing the necessary documents (invitation letter) to those who need visa
   within the budget (if possible) reimbursing the trainers' travel costs (partially or totally)

  What will it mean for you to organize a ES2?

  First of all it is a wonderful opportunity for any local to contribute to the formation of the future of the European Level of AEGEE

 Second of all, it is a great chance to promote your local within the network, since all the participants - the future very active AEGEE members -and staff will remember the great job you did!

 Thirdly, it's a huge learning experience in terms of organisation for any local.

 And last, but not in the least, it is the perfect means to motivate your members by living the exhilarating atmosphere of a ES2 getting AEGEE spirit from highly motivated participants during social programme !

  The applications should contain:

 1. your motivation for organising a ES2;
 2. information about the local (e.g. number of active members, experience with organizing events, etc);
 3. information on potential logistics (i.e. lodging, catering, rooms for lectures and simulations, the distances between the lodging place and rooms, copy facilities etc.);
 4. Expected fee for approx. 25 participants
 5. Possibilities of financing the event
 6. A provisional budget

  Send your application to [log in to unmask] and [log in to unmask] before the 30th of September!

  Take the challenge! Make the step forward!
