Allo, ciao, zivjo, szervusz, cao, tung! :)

I hope you successfully passed your exams and are now fully enjoying the organization of (or participation of) your Summer University. I wish you a great programme, superb participants and sunny weather.


At first I hesitated, whether to write to this mailing list or not, as we are no longer the "Rainbow region", but since the mailing list still exists and since in this way more people get this e-mail than just individual locals, I decided to write to the whole list. As you can see, some e-mails are added - those are the two new locals assigned to me: AEGEE-Pecs and AEGEE-Szombathely, which I warmly welcome to our Team :)
On the other hand, some of the Northern Italy locals went under the protection of the Netcommie Tobias. I would like to point out that this does not mean that they have been cut off from our part of the Network. They are still a part of the AEGEE Network, and as such they can always contact us, visit us and cooperate with us, and vice versa. The reason for this redistribution was to divide the numerous Italian locas between two NetCommies, and thus give way to cooperation and sharing ideas with other locals.

As you know, since Dino's term, our part of the Network is no longer called Rainbow, as we would like to reach the principal AEGEE goal which is: Europe without borders and prejudices. With naming different parts of our Network "Teams", we virtually deleted the borders of previously known "regions", and thus contributed to better connection and cooperation within our Network. In this way, we avoid the feeling of being discluded, the feeling of "not belonging". With other words: if you before felt like a "Rainbowist", now you can feel more "European". Eventhough your local belongs to a certain NetCom Team, you can identify yourself as an AEGEEan :) In the attachment you can find the map of Team Katja.



And now the time has come to introduce you to the new Sub-pirates who will help me sail throuh our part of the Network :) But before doing that, I would like to thank Dino's subcommies, as well as the other netcom-addicts who attributed to our Network. Without you, our part of the Network would not be considered as (one of) the best part in the whole AEGEE! :) Thank you. I will appreciate any suggestions or remarks coming from your side.
