***English version below***

Cari Rainbowiani,

A voi!

Dear Rainbowians,
It's time to plan our next NWM. As from the tradition, it should take place shortly after Mannheim, so between the end of April and the beginning of May. There are already 3 interested antennae (Bergamo, Genova and Palermo), but others are welcome to join the club, even replying to this e-mail!
I am really pleased to see such an interest from them, but at the same time I know I have to let (at least) two of them down. That's why I would like to channel their enthusiasm into something different. I consider HR management as one of the biggest problems amongst italian antennae. What's better than a HRES then? Italy is missing an ES for such a long time and they are one the most enriching events in AEGEE. I strongly recommend these 3 antennae (and all the others) to read carefully the attached e-mail and think about it. It would be a longer event compared to a NWM and also in a different time with more international participants. But still, if they can change their plans it would be great! feel free to rely on me when contacting HR Committee or writing the application.
Going back to the NWM, organizing two of them could be an option, but we should also consider that:
- March is off-limits for our pockets (EBM and Agora so close each other) and for the appointed CD member. So the first one should take place in the second half of Febraury and the second one between April and May.
- Are we sure we can gather at least 30 participants for each NWM?

If we just want to organize a single NWM, Palermo should get the advantage, considering that the last one was in Northern Italy and we should give a chance to every antenna to attend one.

This is what me and the subcommie team came up with, but we need your input now! It would be nice also to hear what the 3 organizers can offer from a logistical point of view.

Up to you, guys!

Subject: [ANNOUNCE] +++OPEN CALL+++: Looking for locals willing to host the next HRES
To: [log in to unmask]

Dear Network,

After organising already two successful Human Resources European Schools, the Human Resources Committee with the AEGEE-Academy are more than willing to organise another round, in order to foster the development of our members through this internal education events, focusing on HR management in the locals.
But we cannot do that alone; for any training that we want to happen, we need participants, we need trainers, and we need a motivated antenna who joins efforts with us and participates in the amazing process of organizing a 1 week event. Now we are looking for an enthusiastic antenna to help us in the next months.

Hosting a European School is one of the most intense, creative and amazing experiences that an antenna can live through. You can see the participants develop themselves, have fun and work hard, learn through Non Formal Education and discover a whole new world of possibilities.

The planned date of the HRES would be September/October 2013.

Please send your application to [log in to unmask]. The *deadline for applications* is *23:59 CET Saturday, 5th January 2013*.

Please feel free to contact speaker of HRC, Burak, at [log in to unmask] if you have any
questions.

You will find all the information you need below (but feel free to contact us at [log in to unmask] in case you have any question). We are looking forward to your application!

Europeanly yours,

Human Resources Committee

WHAT HAS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BY YOUR LOCAL?

  * providing adequate accommodation for the participants (20-25) and staff members (5-6) (preferably all together in a comfortable place with beds, arrange 3 meals per day and coffee breaks);
  * taking care of the necessary logistics for the training programme (rooms for training sessions and technical equipment);
  * preparing a SUPER and exciting social programme (not just parties, also some visit is desirable)
  * providing the necessary documents (invitation letter) for those who need visa
  * within the budget (if possible) reimbursing the trainers' and participants' travel costs (partially or totally)
  * Fundraising in money and in kind - writing the YiA application together with  HRC Speaker Team, or finding alternative ways to provide everything is needed while we keep the fee of the event less that 10€/day

WHAT IT WILL MEAN FOR YOU TO ORGANIZE A EUROPEAN SCHOOL?

Organising one of the AEGEE's ES is a great honour and challenge - waiting for you! This is your chance to contribute to the AEGEE Network. And last but not least, organising such an event is a great learning experience in terms of event management for your local. *Even a smaller local can manage this task, what counts most of all is your motivation*. Already the process of preparing the YiA application can be very useful for your local, so contact your active members and ask them if they are up for the challenge! Do you have what it takes? Then we encourage you to apply! :-) Do not forget the big opportunity that can be for your members, or those from nearby antennae, that can join the event as a participant too.

THE APPLICATIONS OF THE LOCAL COORDINATOR AND THE LOCAL SHOULD CONTAIN:

  * Motivation of the local for organising a Human Resources European School
  * Motivation, experience and availability of the person ready to commit as local co-ordinator of the HRES before, during and after the event.
  * Information about the local and city: past events organised, number of active members, experience, accessibility + means of travel.
  * Fundraising experience: Has your local organised an event within the framework of the “Youth in Action” Programme before? If so, how is your contact with your respective National Agency? What are your recent fundraising successes coming from sources different from EU-grants? Which possibilities (grants, sponsorships) can you imagine for financing the training, other than “Youth in Action”? Can you host the event without funding through YiA?
  * Information on potential logistics: locations for training sessions, lodging, catering, the distances between the lodging place and training locations, availability of technical facilities (copy, Internet etc.)
  * a provisional budget for the event (6-7 working days + arrival and departure days) including expected fee for approx. 20-25 participants and 5-6 trainers (ideally, with travel reimboursement for trainers, but this can be optional).

*APPLICATION DEADLINE: 23:59 CET Saturday, 5th January 2013*
