Cari membri delle Rainbow e Board delle Locals,

Tra circa 7 giorni siamo a Patra per l'Agora e ci ritroveremo a votare candidati, proposte di modifica al CIA e discutere di mille altre questioni.

Le persone e le proposal che andrete a votare sono quelle di cui, per tradizione, inizierete a lamentarvi dal giorno dopo.

Non pretendo di avere la ricetta per risolvere tutti i vostri problemi ma di sicuro, se ci fosse più partecipazione da parte delle sedi e dei delegati che mandate all'Agora, influenzereste molto di più l'andamento di AEGEE e avreste meno da lamentarvi.

Vi do dunque alcuni consigli sul come smuovere la situazione:

1) Come Board e Antenna, avete discusso candidati e proposals? In caso la risposta sia no, vi consiglio di fare una riunione o sentirvi in chat e discuterne. In caso la risposta sia si, assicurate che la cosa dia risultati una volta a Patra.

2) State mandando i vostri delegates solo per mettere la presenza ma in questo momento pensate che forse sia la strategia sbagliata? Fate loro capire cosa devono fare all'Agora, qual è la posizione della sede che vanno a rappresentare.

3) Volete che i delegati delle vostra local si confrontino anche con quelli delle altre sedi e possano riportarvi un punto di vista globale?

Dite loro che possono iscriversi a questo gruppo https://www.facebook.com/groups/422300794581551/?fref=ts , vedere altre posizioni, preparasi ancora di più e riportarvi osservazioni fatte da altri delegate. Potreste cambiare opinione su qualche argomento.

4) Avete dei dubbi sui candidati o sulle proposal?

I delegate hanno diritto di parola all'Agora per questo motivo! Dite loro di fare domande e capire qual è l'opzione migliore per la propria sede; suggerite loro anche le domande se volete.

Dear Rainbow Members and Boards,

in 7 days we will be in Patra for the Agora voting for candidates, proposals to modify the CIA and discuss many other issues.

The people and the proposals that you are going to vote are those which, by tradition, you will start to complain about the next day.

I do not pretend to have a recipe to solve all your problems, but for sure, if there was more participation from Locals and delegates you are sending to Agora you would influence more AEGEE activity and you would have less things to complain about.

So, I want to give you some advice on how to shake up the situation:

1) As Board and Antenna, Did you discuss candidates and proposals?

If the answer is no, I suggest you do a meeting or hear in chat and discuss them. If the answer is yes, make sure that it will give some results once in Patra.

2) Are you sending your Delegates to put only the presence but reading this email you think that maybe it is the wrong strategy?

Let them understand what they need to do during Agora, what is the position of the Local they are going to represent.

3) Do you want your delegates to compare their position with delegates from other Locals and can bring you back a more global perspective?

Tell them they can sign up for this FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/422300794581551/?fref=ts , see other positions, comment, propose questions and tell you the position of other delegates. Maybe you can change opinion about something.

4) Do you have doubts about candidates or proposals?

Delegates have speaking right at the Agora for this reason! Tell them to ask questions and figure out which option is best for your Antenna; You can also suggest questions if you want.
