Join the final conference of the ERASMUS Voting Assessment (EVA)
 The Final Conference of EVA project will take place on the 24th of September at the European Parliament, hosted by Eider Gardiazabal and the Youth Intergroup from 4-6pm.

Luis Alvarado Martinez nominated for Vice-President of European Youth Forum (YFJ)
The Comité Directeur proudly announces their nomination of Luis Alvarado Martinez to run for the position of Vice-President of the European Youth Forum.
We value his experience and competences and think he would be able to bring the platform to a new level, as he has done for AEGEE.

Autumn Agora Cagliari under the High Patronage of the European Parliament
President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, wrote the following statement about our upcoming general assembly: "The event gives voice, in a clear and distinct way, to young people on issues related to their future and encourages the spirit of solidarity and interconnection. Aims of the event, in particular spreading multiculturalism, cooperation among young Europeans, promoting youth mobility, inter-cultural training and the development of active European citizenship, are particularly appreciated by the European Parliament."

AEGEE-Europe in the Jury of the the European Youth Award
AEGEE-Europe and the Comite Directeur has selected the winners of the European Youth Award as part of the Online Grand Jury.
The European Digital Champion will be voted on November 20 in Graz, Austria where also the winners will be presented. Find out more about the award here.

“The sky’s the limit”: AEGEE-Kraków on organising several successful events
AEGEE-Kraków, with a lot of active members both in the local and European level and well-known around the Network has organised a wide range of high-quality events in the past year.
The activity for AEGEE-Kraków has not stopped since last April, with the organisation of an AEGEE Business Conference, a Model United Nations, a Management Training Course and a Travel Summer University. The AEGEEan has interviewed the president, Ela Krótka, in order to get to know better AEGEE-Kraków’s secrets. Read more here.

News from the European Council:
The current Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, will be the next President of the European Council and Federica Mogherini, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Italy, will become the next High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Participate in the #FixEurope Autumn Campus
European Alternatives is deligh-ted to inform you of the upcoming #FixEurope Campus to be held from Oct 21-24 in Berlin, Germnay.
This event will bring together citizens, civil society activists, members of movements, organisations and networks from throughout the continent. The #FixEurope Campus will be about defining political priorities for the year ahead and will be a good opportunity for us to exchange common reflections, practices and build up on project ideas that we can take up collaboratively.

Training for youth workers and volunteer coordinators on intercultural learning
The European Confederation for Youth Clubs is organising an interesting training this month.
The training in Cluj Napoca is dedicated to developing tools for intercultural learning and working with migrant youth. The training in Sibiu is dedicated to the theme of Human Rights in relation to young people and youth work. Travel costs are covered for 70%, while accommodation and meals are fully covered. The deadline has passed but you can still apply now before 2nd of September.
