Final Conference of the Erasmus Voting Assessment (EVA) project

On 24th of September the final conference of the Erasmus Voting Assessment project took place in the European Parliament. This project was carried out in a successful cooperation with Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and Generation Europe Foundation (GEF).

State of discussion in AEGEE

The English translation of AEGEE to be used is European Students’ Forum. But are we really a forum? Where is the place for discussion in AEGEE? What means “Forum for Discussion” as a mean of AEGEE Identity?

AEGEE-Europe goes global

AEGEE-Europe is accepted as an associate member of ICMYO (International Coordination Meeting of Youth Organizations) by their task force. This means AEGEE has now a say in the platform which operates as a Global Youth Forum. Once again AEGEE gets recognition for being the representative body of students in Europe. We will be represented in their Annual Meeting in Baku at the end of this month.

The Comité Directeur and The AEGEEan are launching a competi-tion to reward the most successful and innovative recruitment strategy of antennae. 

The aim of the campaign is to collect best-practices of our network and of organisations in general about how to recruit members in the beginning of the year and how to keep them active throughout the year.

AEGEE crosses new borders: Marko Grdosic’s experience in the WCY in Sri Lanka

The World Conference on Youth (WCY) took place from the 6th to the 10th May this year in Sri Lanka, involving about a thousand of young people from all over the globe with the aim of increasing the youth presence in the planning of the Post-2015 Development Agenda, which is a process led by the United Nation (UN). Marko Grdosic (AEGEE-Zagreb) took part in the event and The AEGEEan met him in order to understand the meaning and the importance of the World Conference on Youth 2014 better.

Share your Erasmus experience for Educoach and win a free participation in any statutory or training event of AEGEE!

This project aims to share experiences of students having been abroad and bringing together students to advise and guide those interested in studying abroad. As part of the advisers team you have the possibility to get a free participation in any statutory or training event (worth up to a 100 Euros).

You will be asked to host a webinar of about 30 minutes. The webinar has to take place before April 2015 and you can determine the exact date and time yourself. You will receive help with the preparation, technical support and feedback. If you enjoyed your first webinar, you are free to host more webinars of course.
