Drafting the Action Agenda 2015-2016

During the European Planning Meeting (EPM) in Burgos, Spain the first version of the Action Agenda 2015-2016 was drafted. Here is a chance for everyone in the network a chance to contribute to the creation of the document which defines our thematic focus for one year.
Come express your thoughts, opinions and suggestions on the drafted AA 15-16 in the ForumConsultation is open until 10th of March 23:59 CET.

30 years of AEGEE - Join the Main Conference

AEGEE is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year and there is something big in Brussels going on! Join the Main Conference of the anniversary celebrations from 7th - 10th of May in Brussels together with over a hundred fellow AEGEEans and members of Les Anciens in the heart of Europe.

Join World Water Day with Health4Youth project

On the 22nd of March world celebrates the World Water Day. Health4Youth project in cooperation with United Nations Water invites you to take part of the day by taking actions in your city: organizing a one/half day event with workshop or discussion on one/all these topics; flashmob on your local cities on the importance of water. Yesterday Election Observation Project had a successful mission to Estonia to observe their Government (Riigikogu) elections. Read their election report here.

AEGEE's consultation on the Visa requirements and Visa obstacles

In order to assess the exact needs for support for AEGEEans regarding Visas we set up a Visa survey, which you can find here

New partnership with Transferwise

We are glad to announce that we have established a partnership with TransferWise.

The list of Summer Universities 2015 is online!
Here are some numbers for the curious followers of the project. This year there will be 70 SUs organised and 103 locals are involved. There are six GREEN SU's  and another six is available for disabled members.
Applications are open from 1st of March till 25th of April.

Visa Directive proposal – the EU Council forgot the volunteers

The Council of the European Union published its proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purposes of studies, work and volunteering. But, the same proposal, raised some concerns.

AEGEE goes to Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Several new contact were recently established in the United Kingdom. One of them is in Newcastle upon Tyne where three girls got together and started working on the paper works to become an antenna. Find out more about the freshly established contact here.

AEGEE-Dresden hugs for Ukraine

After officially being upgraded, AEGEE-Dresden went on the streets to raise awareness of the current happening in Ukraine. How? Giving free hugs to people. Read more about their quest here.

Participate in the Idea Challenge of 'Advocate Europe'

Advocate Europe is pleased to announce the launch of an idea challenge “Advocate Europe”. They invite you to apply with your project idea and secure funding of up to € 50,000. Non-profit projects and initiatives from the fields of civic education, arts and culture, democracy and participation, social innovation or advocacy will be funded.
