EUth project - We need your input to make EUth our new tool for decision-making and discussion in AEGEE!

EUth is a project to improve AEGEE's communication and discussion processes with its members. AEGEE’s role in the project is to run a pilot with the EUth tool, implementing it in locals, Spring Network Meetings 2016 and at Spring Agora Bergamo 2016. We need your input now to decide how exactly we want to implement EUth in AEGEE.

In the next months, similar events on youth-related European topics will take place in Paris, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Berlin, Rome, Bucharest, London, Madrid, Athens, Copenhagen and Tallinn. Don't miss your chance to participate and represent youth's (and AEGEE's) voice there!

Ban Ki-moon meets with young people to discuss their role in the post-2015 agenda

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon addressed last week young people gathered in Brussels to discuss their role in solving the world's most pressing challenges. AEGEE-Europe was present at the event, and a group of selected young people was actively discussing the challenges youth faces with the Secretary-General.

Mr Ban Ki-moon said among others: 'you are the first generation that has the opportunity to eradicate poverty and the last generation who has the opportunity to address climate change'. We encourage you to watch the video coverage from the event!
External Opportunities

Join the Entrepreneurship Summer School in Brussels

ThinkYoung, the first think tank focusing on young people is organising an Entrepreneurship Summer School in Brussels on July 13-17.

Started in 2011 the Entrepreneurship School began with one idea: that university professors aren't teaching students how to become successful entrepreneurs. There is not enough entrepreneurship education in Europe. University education is too theory based, with participants learning from professors who don’t engage with the real life situations needed for success. We believe that the most effective teachers and inspirer's of entrepreneurship, are actual entrepreneurs.

Apply for the Brussels edition until June 20! More info here.
