Juridical Commission presents to you with the utmost pleasure the latest edition of the Corpus Iuridicum Aegeense.
This edition, the 26.0, contains all the latest modifications approved by the Spring Agora Asturias and all the updated internal regulations of the bodies of AEGEE. It also differs from the previous ones for its layout and structure. Be inspired by the new CIA! Do not hesitate to contact the Juridical Commission for any question or doubt.

On 13th of July knowledge transfer for the Comité Directeur 2015-2016 started. This week has been mainly focused on learning about external partners and supporters. Next week will focus primarily on internal affairs of AEGEE and last week of July will be dedicated to personal knowledge transfer. Stay tuned for updates!

At Autumn Agora Cagliari 2014 the Ukrainian local AEGEE-Kyïv was announced as the organiser of the Autumn Agora 2015. The dates have already been announced, the team is organisers is full of enthusiasm and soon AEGEEans will be able to apply. Find out more about the Agora in the AEGEEan.

Given that our internal education system has been a long-term issue and a struggle for our association, the picture looks much better now with the brand new Strategy for Learning and Training and the approval of the proposals that will from now on regulate the definitions of trainings. Get to know the strategy here.

The Hungarian government has recently made headlines (again) with the government announcing it is going to erect a 4m high and 176 km's long fence along the Serbian-Hungarian border, investing 23 billions Forints (Hungarian currency, approx. 75 million euros), “protecting the borders of Hungary and protecting the borders of the EU”. The ECI Campaign released the full report of the 16 June 2015 conference “The European Citizens’ Initiative and the Promise of Participatory Democracy” where AEGEE-Europe was supporting organiser. Since 1 April 2012, the ECI allows one million citizens to invite the European Commission to propose a legal act to implement the treaties. To date, 46 ECI committees have been formed, 27 ECIs were registered and six million EU citizens have supported an ECI. No ECI has led to a legislative proposal. Only three ECIs are currently open and attracting little support. The ECI Regulation is now up for review. The full report can be downloaded from here.

AEGEE is currently reviewing the possibilities to let its members initiate an ECI on civic education as outlined in the Action Agenda 2015-2016. If you are interested contact [log in to unmask].

In the beginning of July AEGEE-Valletta presented results booklet of the 'Youth Entrepreneurship in the European Union' project to Elżbieta Bieńkowska, Commissioner for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs for it to be implemented in the European Commission. This document was a product of our work in collaboration with MEP Miriam Dalli and the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and it was made up of solutions for the problems identified during events. 

The main aim of this project was to reduce youth unemployment in the EU, ultimately one of the focus areas in AEGEE-Europe's Strategic Plan, by focusing on youth entrepreneurship to boost the economy locally and at Union level. Read more here or here.

STARTUP SCALEUP is an acceleration program for startups whose objective is to facilitate both internationalization and funding.
 
The program is funded by the European Union, which promotes the Startup Europe initiative in the context of the H2020 program, and is completely free for the entrepreneurs.
 
It is an opportunity for the Startups, since they can access to:
- International investor groups that are specifically focused on Internet of Things and Mobile Services.
- International visibility through the Startup Europe initiative.
- Expert mentoring and training related to internationalization, marketing, technology, and Internet of Things and Mobile Services-based business.
- International mobility throughout a European network that comprises several incubators and accelerators.
