EU: Is the Youth Guarantee failing Europe's jobless young people?

Two years after the launch of the Youth Guarantee, more than a fifth of young working-age European are still jobless or not in education. The impact of the Youth Guarantee is still questioned, as it fails to "give every young EU citizen a quality offer of employment, education or training if they are unemployed".

Tearing down language barriers has never been easy. However, if you are an Erasmus+ student or a European Voluntary Service Volunteer, you can take advantage of the Online Linguistic Support, a platform launched by the European Commission to support mobility students in such an endeavour.

The OLS is available for German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch, which are the main languages for about 90% of all Erasmus+ mobilities. You might want to check it if you are kicking off your EVS or Erasmus semester in any of the countries where these languages are spoken!
