News from Comité Directeur AEGEE at the Council of Members of the YFJ AEGEE was represented at the CoMem of the European Youth Forum (YFJ) last weekend in Madrid by our president, Aleksandra Kluczka, and our Liaison Officer towards YFJ, Paul Smits. Besides discussing with other youth organisations, the CoMem was the opportunity* for AEGEE to present a thematic square on the topic of Civic Education* which stirred a great interest from the Member Organisations! AEGEE at the statutory event of ESTIEM AEGEE was invited to attend last week* the Council Meeting of ESTIEM *(European STudents of Industrial Engineering and Management) in Vienna and learn more about some of its current projects. The European Movement is a network of organisations that has mobilised citizens and advocated for a democratic, federal and enlarged union since 1948, and AEGEE-Europe, as one if its member organisations, was present there a*nd discussed the position of EMI on topics such as migration*, Economic and Monetary Union, security, democracy and the digital agenda.
