Each year, a new* Action Agenda* is created in order to set concrete goals
for you, the Network, to work with the Strategic Plan. Contributing to
the *Strategic
Plan* is one of the antennae criteria that will be checked with the *Activity
Report* and *Activity Plan*.

largest pan-European network of pro-European organisations. Last week, they
turned 70 and invited to their birthday event,*"Sharing Europe"*. Julia,
Desiree, Florian, Katharina, Philipp and Nadia (taking the picture)
attended to see a European Event that was very different in age structure,
not so much in the discussions. It was nice to meet old and new people from
other associations all over Europe!

*GDPR is here* and we want you to welcome* Data Privacy Committee of
AEGEE-Europe*! The aim of this committee is to support AEGEE-Europe’s path
to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation, a new set of EU
regulations that will came into force on 25th of May.

The main activities of the committee include:

   - Create an overview of data flows
   - Establish a register of processing operations
   - Develop a data breach protocol including a register of data breaches
   - Develop processing agreements contracts for third parties
   - Explore the possibilities of how to obtain the necessary consent of
   members of AEGEE antennae to gather and process their data by AEGEE-Europe.
   - Answer questions relevant for the implementation of the GDPR

On the 31st of May a great adventure is starting for two members of the *Equal
Rights Working Group*! They will travel by train through central Europe and
the Balkans and*visit several **Prides*. The aim is to explore the
realities of the *LGBT+* communities in different cities of Europe,
focusing on young people and the impact the pride parades have on the fight
for equal rights. Each of the stops will include activities like interviews
with LGBT+ pride organizers, visits to LGBT+ local groups, workshops with
AEGEE local members, pride parades and a lot of dialogue!

*The YEP* and *Y Vote* projects reached Germany and Bulgaria. In distance
of 1328 km from each other two NWMs were happening at the same time:
NWM Sofia, 17-20 May and NWM Munich, 18-21 May.
Participants of both NWMs received training via workshops in *Advocacy* and
*Policy* and*Why European Parliament* (basic and advanced), to improve
their advocacy skills and their knowledge on the European Union
institution. With enthusiasm and great spirits, the participants were
involved in discussion campaigns, EU institutional structures, proposing
local campaigns, quizzing their EU knowledge and exchange views on the
upcoming European Parliament elections.
