San Caloret 2019 AEGEE-Valencia

Hellooo everyone!!! Are you ready for the best event of the year? Are you willing to enjoy ‘el caloret’? Ready to experience our traditions and have fun at the same time?

During San Juan night people usually make bonfires in the beach and then jump three waves asking a wish for each. We will join this awesome ritual, but AEGEE Valencia is preparing much more for you to make sure you have a great experience in ‘la terreta’.

San Caloret is the perfect way to start the summer with beach, sun, parties and a lot of fun activities. Are you going to miss this amazing Mediterranean adventure?

Essay contets “Creating a Society Full of Kindness”
Young people from around the world are invited to enter the 2019 International Essay Contest for Young People organized by the Goi Peace Foundation.

The theme for this year's contest is: "CREATING A SOCIETY FULL OF KINDNESS." As 20th anniversary special edition, this year’s contest involves action in addition to writing.

The deadline for entry is June 15, 2019.

Prize winners will receive a cash award and will be invited to Japan for the award ceremony. Please see the complete guidelines below or here.

The Morpheus cup is the largest European universities and graduate schools’ championship, each year gathers the best European students to compete through their projects and a day of themed open-innovation challenges.

The Morpheus Prize is an individual or group project/startup competition submitted online on a range of categories (HealthTech, HR Tech, IoT, Costumer Experience & AI). The top three projects from each category will be invited to pitch in Luxembourg on May 22nd, overall, winners of each category will have the chance to pitch again, the same day, in front of renowned professionals.

This event has been placed under the patronage of the European Commission since it began. This year, Mr Carlos Moedas (European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation) supports the Morpheus Cup.

AEGEE-Europe already successfully tested them out in European Planning Meeting in Yerevan and Smart Cities Conference in Thessaloniki.
