AEGEE Election Observation is calling for Local Coordinators for the EP Elections
AEGEE Election Observation invites young people (aged between 18 and 35 years old), from all over Europe to apply as Local Coordinators for our upcoming Election Observation Mission to the European Parliament elections. The elections will take place on different days in different EU member states between 23 and 26 May 2019.

To support the deployment of the AEGEE Election Observation Mission in the observed European countries. Applicants from Ireland, Estonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Finland, Denmark, Croatia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Sweden who are familiar with the country and its language, and are interested in the topics of youth participation and election observation, are invited to join the mission as Local Coordinators.

Essay contets “Creating a Society Full of Kindness”
Young people from around the world are invited to enter the 2019 International Essay Contest for Young People organized by the Goi Peace Foundation.

The theme for this year's contest is: "CREATING A SOCIETY FULL OF KINDNESS." As 20th anniversary special edition, this year’s contest involves action in addition to writing.

The deadline for entry is June 15, 2019.

Prize winners will receive a cash award and will be invited to Japan for the award ceremony. Please see the complete guidelines below or here.

The Morpheus cup is the largest European universities and graduate schools’ championship, each year gathers the best European students to compete through their projects and a day of themed open-innovation challenges.

The Morpheus Prize is an individual or group project/startup competition submitted online on a range of categories (HealthTech, HR Tech, IoT, Costumer Experience & AI). The top three projects from each category will be invited to pitch in Luxembourg on May 22nd, overall, winners of each category will have the chance to pitch again, the same day, in front of renowned professionals.

This event has been placed under the patronage of the European Commission since it began. This year, Mr Carlos Moedas (European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation) supports the Morpheus Cup.

Are you passionate about the topic of human rights and democracy? Do you have the knowledge to deliver aa training for facilitators? Would it be your dream to train new facilitators on the topic of Human rights? Then this open call is made for you!

We are looking for experts on the topic of human rights and quality trainers that are capable to deliver four full days training.

All your costs during the event will be cover as well as up to 150€ of travel expenses. In addition, you will receive 250€ for your work before and after the event.

You are expected to:
- Be available since the moment that you are chosen until few days after the event.
- Select the participants for the training
- Be passionate about democracy and human rights
- Prepare the whole schedule, sessions and coordinate with the other trainers
- Have good communication with the local organizers in terms of logistics and needs for the event
- Have good communication with the responsible persons from AEGEE-Europe in order to be aware of the requirements of the grant
- Arrive one day before the event
- Deliver quality training
Have an evaluation after the training
