SMASH T4T: open call for participants

WHAT: SMASH training for trainers
WHEN: 2-9 October
WHERE: Alicante, Spain

During this training, you’ll learn how to implement the gender perspective in your trainings, making them more equal and gender-friendly. You’ll learn what sexual harassment is and how to prevent, detect and react to it, and most importantly how to train others in doing so.

Besides, you will get real experience in delivery as the practice delivery will happen in a real Safe Person training. During this training, we will explore a new concept, in which we will include a Safe Person training for youth workers within part of the Training for Trainers. This will be supported by the trainers of the T4T and the experience of the two previous SMASH trainings in Tbilisi and Helsinki.

The 24th of July at 18:00 we are organizing our annual transition cocktail (European transition) to welcome the newly elected board and say goodbye to the current one.
The cocktail will take care at the AEGEE head office (Rue du Noyer, 55, Brussels)

This event is under the Project "My Europe My Say" co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union and under the Project Why European Parliament co-funded by the European Union.

Equal Rights News
  • Pride month: all over the globe people gathered to celebrate their identity, sexuality and freedom. Some prides were however disrupted by violent interventions, especially in Turkey. Find some impressions here.

  • 50 years after the Stonewall riots: this year’s pride marked a special day and memory: the sponteanaous uprising of the LGBTQ community on June 28th 1969 is considered one of the most important events for the gay liberation movement. Read more here.
