Strategy Committee

We have very recently chosen the 4 new Focus Areas and the Organisational Improvements for the upcoming 3 years (2020-2023). But how to best implement the new Strategic Plan? How to draft the best objectives for them? What should the new Action Agenda look like? How to measure our work towards it? Or even more important, how do we communicate and engage with every AEGEEan to reach all of our new aims? The newly created Strategy Committee will be the team working on these extremely interesting and important tasks - if you believe in the vision of AEGEE, you will want to be a part of this!

To apply, fill this form until the 22nd of November!

  • European Commission president-elect Ursula von der Leyen, who is most probably about to take office in a couple of weeks, committed herself to organize a “Conference on the Future of Europe”, which is supposed to serve as a push for European democracy. The process is sketched out to run from 2020 for two years. She pledged that young people and civil society would play a significant role in that. Let’s see!

The European Commission is currently running a citizen dialogue with young people on the topic of the environment. The idea is to make policy officers (civil servants) interact with young people (18-25 years old) and to discuss the most urging environmental policies from the participants’ point of view. After several other countries the last one will take place in Brussels, Belgium. More info here.
