Youth Development Working Group is looking for a local that it’s interested in organising a Summer University on the topic of Mental Health!

We are looking for Summer Course, Summer Course + or Short Summer Break with 18 tuition hours. These tuition hours will include various activities as workshops about mental health deliver with non-formal education methodologies, yoga, connection with nature and what your logistics can offer us!

AEGEE NEWS

European Citizenship Working Group has published a booklet on human rights!

The booklet contains the history of human rights, information on the Council of Europe and EU institutions specializing in human rights as well as the text of UDHR and activities. Locals that will do these activities, put the pictures on their FB page with hashtag #ecwgthematicmonth or send them to ECWG, will be published as European Locals of the Month.

The booklet can be found on the FB page of ECWG!

AEGEE Human Rights Days 2019 is back!

Also this year, 8 European Bodies of AEGEE / European Students' Forum invite you all to the AEGEE HRD 2019.

Organize workshops, activities, charity actions and much much more activities and participate to the contest to go win prizes during Spring Agora Yerevan 2020!

Youth Development News

The next year`s EU budget has been approved. Among investments in climate and infrastructure, a huge part is dedicated to helping the young by supporting Erasmus+ and the Youth Employment Initiative. More information here.
Members of the European Parliament condemn the criminalization of sex education in Poland, as it puts the safety and well-being of young individuals on risk. Read more here.
Mental Health Europe has released a position urging for a united mental health strategy, including how it should look like and how comprehensive it should be. The full text can be found here.

European Citizenship News

After a fought campaign by both parties that back remaining in the EU and leaving the EU, Boris Johnson has managed to secure a mandate for his hard Brexit plan which will involve the deal negotiated between the EU and Theresa May.

A transition period is expected until the end of the year, after which we will see if a trade deal is able to have been reached. Situation in Northern Ireland and Scotland will be monitored.
