AEGEE-Leiden is honored to host the Final Conference of Europe on Track 7 from the 16th to the 19th of April. The theme of this year’s edition of Europe on Track is ‘Social Inclusion: From Gender Equality to Mental Health’. The Europe on Track ambassadors will be traveling through Europe to visit different locals for interesting workshops, sessions and surveys regarding this theme.

The final conference of this amazing project will take place in Leiden and will be aimed mainly towards Mental Health, but of course, the themes of Gender Equality and inclusivity will be implemented too. The ambassadors will present the results of their journey during the event. On top of that, lots of interesting sessions and workshops will take place in collaboration with the Youth Development Working Group as well as with other external professional organizations.

Do you want to learn more about Mental Health? This event is aimed at providing knowledge and raising awareness about Mental Health issues, which will be addressed from different perspectives and angles. By doing so, we hope to be able to undermine persistent taboos together with all participants – let’s Break The Psycle together!

Open Call For AEGEE Day Activities - European Bodies' Proposals!

AEGEE Day’s Project Team proudly presents the open call for the next AEGEE Day activities proposed by you, European Bodies! 

This year, we want to do things in a little bit different way. 

You can either propose:

• Thematic Activities connected with Time Travel topic, where you can reflect the changes happened in society/your topic of your European Body/Europe in general in the last 35 years, from 1985 till 2020;
   
• Generic Activities connected with the Celebrations AEGEE Day do stand for, like typical activities to improve the locals’ life and make them celebrate AEGEE-Europe’s 35th anniversary, possibly connected with a Celebration/Reunion point of view.

How to do it?

EPM Barcelona 2020 Is Over!

This year's European Planning Meeting, EPM Barcelona 2020 took place between the 5th - 9th of February with 180 participants from all over Europe! We spent intensive days in drafting the Action Agenda of our new Focus Areas for the next year and enjoyed discussions about the topics, Social Inclusion and Mental Health during the thematic part of the event!

The first day started with a panel discussion about the "Different Faces of Social Inclusion" followed by several parallel sessions focusing on Mental Health, Youth Inclusion, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion.

On the second day, after having parallel sessions and the World Cafe. Afterward, with the leadership of the Strategy Committee of AEGEE-Europe, all the participants started drafting the Action Agenda of the new Strategic Plan (2020-2023) which includes the new focus areas: Climate Emergency, Mental Health, Political Activism and Social Equity. Everyone worked very hard to find the vision, actions and indicators till the following day when we had the final presentations.

We would like to thank first, AEGEE-Barcelona for hosting this amazing event, as well as Content Managers and Strategy Committee of AEGEE-Europe for their contentful hard work, and then to all of the participants for their pro-activeness and contribution on the way to shaping the future of Europe!

Eastern Partnership+ Has A New Project!

EaP+ is looking for you!

Ukrainian cities are full of motivated and inspired people who are eager to create something new and we are here to unlock their potential. A motivated team of people from different places and bodies is already on it.

What is happening?

Ukraine, a big country within Europe with little AEGEE representation. Do you want to change it?
Perfect, so do we! We are here to unlock their potential. In this project we want to send a team of AEGEEans as ambassadors to different cities throughout the country. We want to bring the AEGEE spirit to these cities to found new contacts there. For this we search for a team willing to organise the project itself.

Who are we looking for? For someone who is ready to...

• Have regular skype calls with the whole team
• Identify potential places for new contacts
• Get in touch with universities, other organizations and partners
• Identify potential funding for the project
• Help to find the final team going to Ukraine (or even to go by yourself)
• Assist the traveling ambassadors as well as the local contacts in the respective cities during the whole trip, the preparation and the aftermath
