AEGEE-Europe Online Music Festival

Would you like to be a part of a new, international initiative?

Would you like to record yourself playing a DJ-set, playing an instrument or singing?

Would you like to have your work shown off in a day-long livestream, watching it with every AEGEE member from across the network and potentially reaching thousands of people with your skills?

Then this is the perfect event for you! It is being organised by the Party Committee of AEGEE-Amsterdam in cooperation with AEGEE-Europe and we can't wait to bring the Network a great online party experience. The vision is to have an awesome online (festival-)party where you can tune into nice music, while meeting AEGEEans from across the world, playing games, chatting and much more. We hope to achieve this by bringing in DJ's from the entire Network, because what is a party without your favorite DJ/band/artist from your own local?

The date of the event is still being decided on, so stay tuned for that and fill in your availability in this form.

Be as concrete as possible!

AEGEE NEWS

Open Letter - EU "Marshall" Plan

AEGEE-Europe has recently co-signed Open Letter for an EU "Marshall" Plan for Training and Education To Avoid the Socio-Economic Collapse to the EU institutions asking for a massive investment in education and (re)schooling for the labor market to be ready for the world after Corona.

"The prognosis is all too clear: COVID-19 is provoking an unprecedented economic crisis and unemployment wave that will be long, painstaking to get through and expensive to resorb. The International Labor Organization has already announced an expected loss of 12 million full-time jobs in Europe in 2020. Without a doubt, this will put EU and national welfare systems at risk. We also know that a systemic crisis and high unemployment bring with them the additional risks of democratic decline and increased inequality.  We are only at the beginning of the tsunami wave but it is possible to limit its impact by acting now..."
