Open Call for Interim Juridical Commission Members!

Juridical Commission is looking for members to join the team. We are hereby announcing an Open Call for interim members of the Juridical Commission.

Are you a passionate AEGEEan and a law student? Or do you know someone who is? Being part of the JC is a unique opportunity to apply your legal knowledge, gain insight into new legal topics and into the inner legal workings of an international non-profit umbrella organisation, and work on juridical topics with a diverse team of motivated AEGEEans.

Open Call for Audit Commission Subcommies!

The Audit Commission is the organ of AEGEE-Europe that is all about the money. We check the bookkeeping of AEGEE-Europe, we help locals that require help with accounting, and keep an eye out for the financial health of the network. This year we are trying to add some new tasks, such as checking final grant reports for AEGEE-Europe and others that would like our help. Do you have any financial experience, or would you like to get some experience in this field? Then apply as a subcommissioner!

The tasks of a commissioner can include many things, such as:

  • Have contact with locals
  • Help with checking the bookkeeping of AEGEE Europe
  • Create some content for our Social Media channels
  • Share your own financial & accountancy knowledge with others
  • Having regular meetings with an international team of AEGEE’ans

Open Call for Local and Member of the Month!

The Agora has just ended and we hope you had a good time and that all of you are safe. In this Agora you also had an opportunity to see how our fellow members from different locals work. As we all know there are a lot of people and Locals whose contributions you'd like to acknowledge.

For that, we want you to give you the chance to nominate the best local and member in your opinion and, the one with the most votes will become Local and member of the month! Every month you will have the chance to vote for different local and maybe be one of the best locals.

For this month, voting time is until the 8th of November, so be sure to complete the form by then and help us get our best local and member of the month. The selected winners will be featured in The AEGEEan, allowing the Network to know more about them, and also congratulated and thanked by the whole AEGEE Network!

Open Call for EQAC Members!

Apply now to join the team of Events Quality Assurance Committee to contribute to events’ management improvement and make events in AEGEE better!

Despite the current situation, with the ongoing pandemic, we assure you, the ideas and projects aren’t lacking! Here are some things you could be working on if you join our team:

  • Analyzing events in AEGEE and discovering what makes them successful
  • Brainstorming on fresh ideas or projects that you would like to implement
  • Collaborating with other European Bodies
  • Developing a “How to do an Event Guide” for online/offline events
  • Helping to create tools to evaluate the quality and impact of events
  • Managing the Calendar of Events on MyAEGEE
  • Providing the tools to facilitate the event management for locals

European Day of Languages 2020 is Coming!

Language Interest Group is ready to announce the European Day of Languages 

In September, 2021 this event was held for the first time. Since then, it has been a good tradition which unites people from all over Europe.

The general objectives of the European Day of Languages are:

  • Alerting the public to the importance of language learning and diversifying the range of languages learned in order to increase plurilingualism and intercultural understanding;
  • Promoting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe, which must be preserved and fostered;
  • Encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school, whether for study purposes, for professional needs, for purposes of mobility or for pleasure and exchanges

Greenest Antenna of the Month!

October is finished and it's time to choose the Greenest Local of the Month. The winner of this month is AEGEE-Brescia as we noticed they organised a really nice day of collecting trash around the city on which AEGEEans, other organisations and random people had collaborated.


Didn't you know about this project? Is a Project organised by the Climate Emergency Working Group in which each month we choose a local that has been really active on the Climate Change and other environmental issues!


If you are organising an Online Workshop, doing any campaign, activity on your social media raising awareness, let us know sending an email to [log in to unmask] so we will know you are active on this topic and you will win our very special prize!

Open Letter to Support ''Green Deal'' Policies on Your Region!

The team from the Climate Emergency Working Group are proud to announce one of the Projects we will do during our term, and it is called "Online Campaigns". On this project we will encourage each month AEGEEans and externals to join a campaign that's going on around Europe (collecting signs, sending letters, doing any action...).


For this time, we are inviting you to check this Letter that you can send to your heads of states and/or MEPs asking them to support policies following the principles of the “Green Deal”, both on a national and European level.


The Letter is in English, feel free to use it and/or translate it into your language.

Webinar AEGEE-Nijmegen: Carbon Footprint!

Next Monday, 16th of November,an online webinar will be organised in collaboration with AEGEE-Nijmegen and Climate Emergency Working Group The webinar will be about Carbon Footprint. 

We will have a Facebook Event really soon, clarifying also the time and the link to the webinar will be shared shortly before the event day!
