AEGEE’s 36th birthday is coming up on the 16th of April and here is your
opportunity to become the AEGEE Day Ambassador!


Our beloved organization deserves to celebrate its birthday in the most
creative and fun way possible, bringing the whole AEGEE Network together!


As an Ambassador you will join the creative project team of AEGEE Day 2021
to coordinate the massive 10-days celebration of AEGEE’s birthday in April.


But what is most important, with other Ambassadors from different parts of
Europe, you will be the main driver and motivator of AEGEE locals and
members to actively participate in AEGEE Day activities and be part of a
memorable, outstanding AEGEE birthday celebration!

*How to Request a Trainer?*


Do you want to organise a training event, but you lack trainers to do so?
In such case, do not hesitate to contact the board of AEGEE-Academy and we
will do our best to find a matching trainer for you!


All you need to do is fill out the form that you will find in the official
‘’Request a
Training/Trainer‘’ page (link) on the website of AEGEE-Academy.

*Where Does Europe End 2.0 Opening Conference:Where Does Europe Start?*


In the past months, the concept of the Where Does Europe End project
started growing, and on *Wednesday 17th of February, at 16:00*, our
official opening conference will take place! That's why it is our pleasure
now to announce an Open Call for participants for this online event, which
will be the grand official opening of the project!


The program will consist out of interesting sessions, a keynote
presentation and many other surprises.


So are you interested in Europe?  What makes a country European?  What is
the most important value that makes a region European?

*Political Committees of European Movement International!*



The open call for an external opportunity within one of our
umbrella organisations, the *European Movement International has been
extended*! We are still looking for motivated AEGEEans to join the *PC1*
 and *PC2*.


The European Movement <https://europeanmovement.eu/who-we-are/> is the
largest pan-european network of pro-european organisations. It is present
in 34 countries and encompasses 38 international associations, bringing
together european civil society, business, trade unions, NGOs, political
parties, local authorities and academia.


*The Political Committees of the EMI *are the membership structures, in
which EMI involves its member organisations to the everyday policy work of
the platform. Each member organisation can nominate a representative in
each Political Committee (PC), which are formed according to the policy
priorities of the EMI and the decision of the EMI board. Currently there
are 3 Political Committees, you can find more info about them here

Use this chance to bring the youth voice to the table and shape the
policies of one of the biggest civil society stakeholders based on our

*Have the Impact on Action Agenda 2021/2022!*

Have you heard that there is an ongoing opportunity to deliver an
interesting session at your local and contribute to the planning of the
whole AEGEE at the same time?

The input you create is crucial for the upcoming online EPM as it will be
the base during the drafting of Action Agenda.

All you have to do is gather your members, either online or live, but make
sure you are following all steps for maintaining your health and bring the
spirit of drafting into your local. Send us your ideas *until* *21 of

*AEGEE Members Survey!*

To remind you, the AEGEE Survey is still ongoing. A short questionnaire
through which we aim at measuring the general impact of our activities and
identifying the profile of the average AEGEE member in 2020.

*Why this survey is IMPORTANT?*

   - To identify the ways in which AEGEE influences the *personal and
   professional development* of young people;
   - To tailor the *activities *of AEGEE based on the results;
   - To sell to *partners *and *grant donors* the profile of our membership
   (also at local level);
   - To understand the *evolution *of our membership in this time. The last
   survey we had was conducted in 2013. That’s 7 years without data!

Filling in the AEGEE Survey takes approximately 10 minutes. That’s the same
time it would take you to cook the pasta so use those 10 minutes to
contribute to the greater good of AEGEE!

The European Planning Meeting (EPM) is approaching , in which you will be
able to draft the Action Agenda of the Focus Areas for the following year.

We would like to ensure that participants have the knowledge and are
well-equipped with the necessary knowledge on the Focus Areas. That’s why
all Working Groups have prepared Focus Areas sessions.
