December is already here and we are not far from the change of the
calendar year. Our Network is busy with organising, attending and
planning events, which is only a good thing. We have compiled in the

AEGEE represented in the Board of European Movement International
With our utmost pleasure we would like to congratulate AEGEE-Europe's
Vice President & External Relations Director Aleksandra Kluczka for
being elected in the board of the European Movement International

their General Assembly that took place from 28th to 30th November in Rome!
We wish Aleksandra all the best, knowing she will give a great

AEGEE represented in the European Youth Forum - Luis Alvarado
Martinez elected
From 20 till 22 November, the General Assembly of the European Youth
Forum

took place in the European Youth Capital of 2015, Cluj-Napoca. AEGEE was
represented by President Paul Smits and Liaison Officer Marko Grdosic.
The discussions were very fruitful as we managed to give visa issues,
formal and non-formal education, Structured Dialogue on Youth and
Erasmus+ funding a higher priority in the work plan of YFJ for 2015 and
2016.

ImPRESsive week for Public Relations enthusiasts in AEGEE
Last week Public Relations European School took place in Poznan, Poland.
It was a week full of challenges, learning, new friendships, discussions
and new ideas. Throughout the week participants worked on different

AEGEE present at Germany's biggest Youth Fair YOU
From 28th - 30th November AEGEE was part of the YOU Dortmund, Germany's
biggest Youth Fair. Several AEGEE locals were cooperating to promote
AEGEE's network, projects and initiatives towards interested visitors
and acquiring new cooperations with Youth NGOs.

AEGEEans cast a critical eye on Moldovan parlamentary elections
On the weekend of the 30th of November Election Observation
Project deployed 22 young observers to the parliamentary elections in
Moldova. In pairs of two the observers visited around 50 polling
stations, that were spread out across different neighborhoods of Chisinau.

AEGEE-Yerevan’s AMEU – Bringing the European Union and Armenia closer
Outstanding antennae organising outstanding events – just a couple of
weeks ago, AEGEE-Yerevan organised the Armenia Model European Union
(AMEU) for the fourth year in a row! The AEGEEan interviewed Armenak
Minasyants, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AEGEE-Yerevan and one

French kiss the Italian Beauty: TSU AEGEE-Genova and AEGEE-Lyon
The stories that you are going to hear about this TSU are going to be
legendary, because those stories are French and Italian legends created
by all of the participants and organizers. This TSU included not only
discovering Italian and French culture, but also friendship and
unforgettable memories within 17 different nations. A legend was made by
the antennas of Lyon and Genova in two weeks. Lyon, Annecy, Genova and
Cinque Terre… those places are going to be remembered fondly by each one

Beyond AEGEE
The biggest Peaceful Student March in Skopje
Couple of months ago, the Macedonian government tried to implement
external testing for students, without taking their opinion in to
consideration. Which is why, on the 15th of November, more than 3000
students and non-students concerned for the way decisions are made in
Macedonia, marched peacefully on the Streets of Skopje.

From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence
against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism
against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to
end violence against women and girls around the world.
The United Nations Secretary-General’s Campaign UNiTE to End Violence
against Women raises awareness of this matter and mobilises everyone to
take part in the project "Orange YOUR neighbourhood"
